connie when you are on a fasting for blood work you CAN STILL DRINK PLAIN WATER...they told me this at the lab when i went and they had a hard time finding my vein because i was dehydrated making the veins harder to get to.

Happy birthday to all your April grandbabies ... Amanda and I share a birthday, but she's much younger, of course.

Good morning, Julia and my other OFFer's.

Julia, I am so sorry to hear about the little girl. Most of the time I just shake my head and ask what this world is coming to. It is so scary....not at all like when we were kids. It is a shame that kids now can't have the fun that we use to have. No worries just play and fun. There are so many sick and perverted people out in this world and it seems like the world is getting more and more of them. My prayers are including the little girl, her family, friends and of course you, dear one. It is such a tragedy.

I am making yet another funeral casserole. It is in the oven now and I have to have it to the church by 11 this morning. This time it is a double batch of a ham, potato and cheese casserole. I had ham in the freezer and thought that it was a perfect time to use it. This makes out 6th one in 6 months and I hope that it is the last one for a long long time.

I didn't take Carol yesterday for the ultrasound and NST. DS called and told me that he was going to be home from work to take her so I didn't have to come out if I didn't want to. I was glad to have the chance to stay home. I heard nothing about the events

I better get going. The bell just rang and so my casserole is done. It sure smells good.

I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers for those in need. Don't forget to smile and make someone happy this fine spring day. Even if it doesn't seem like spring where you are.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

LOL i told rick if i get a bike i want a LARGE seat!!! he laughed at me...the seat on his BMX bike is so small and hard i told him i didn't see how he could sit on it...he said well he really doesn't use the seat because he does tricks on the bike and he can't sit to do them...yeah ok makes sense to me now....but dang it sure is small and hard!!!!

ok my CRS just hit and i can't remember what else i wanted to address or to whom...hate when that happens!!!! but know i have read most of the posts and just can't answer them all due to ricks PC running so SLOW!!!!! welcome to the newbies and congrats to those that have their date and also i am praying for those that need it and hugs to those that are in need of an extra hug....

HI All
It's Tuesday, Right!! When you are not working they all kinda blend together. I did get
another resume out yesterday & hoping to get at least an interview this time. It gets so
maddening not to hear a darn thing after trying for so long.
Hey the good news is I am down to 220  which is getting closer to the 200 mark again.
Margo, glad that Michael came home.
Julia, very sorry about having to deal with the kids today on such a sad thing. Prayers sent for everyone & the family of that pour child.
It's suppose to be about 90 degress today, & cool back off tomorrow. we will see!!
Have a great day all!!

Julia, There is no understanding for me of how anyone can do something like this. Those minds are so damaged and sick that it is beyond comprehension. How do you reassure your children? And how can a parent allow their child to be free to grow and explore their immediate world. My children were able to play freely in our back and front yard. I worried about falls and stitches not abductions. May you find solace in being close to people at school today. Take care. I'll be thinking of you.

Hi Julia and my OFF family:

Just got home from my ortho doc appointment. Although I was concerned about wrenching/twisting my knee last week, he seems to think everything is fine. I actually got to see the guy this time, although I started with meeting the PA, this time Emily. She took a look at everything and thought it looked OK, but then had the doc come in. He explained a little bit about the surgery, the kind of implant he used and then why I shouldn't be too concerned about the swelling yet or the instability yet ... he said it takes up to two years to recover from a revision and that I need to strengthen my quads. So I need to do more quad sets and wall slides. I have been lax in my exercises the past two weeks ... depression over the work news and then inactivity after the ingrown toenail surgery. But I need to get back into it ... and oh, now I feel a cold coming on. Not an excuse, just a fact. Have felt it since Saturday, a scratchy throat and sneezing on and off and now chills too. (Of course, it's 37 degree out and windy.

Couldn't leave really early yesterday like I had hoped, but that's OK. We had to do the Region section because of the Michigan State game ... but then they lost ... more like they got pounded by North Carolina. So most likely Kim's work got ripped up. Then Kim had to come back in the A.M. (although not early). Poor woman, her schedule is so moved around ... one day, it's early morning, then it's daytime hours, then on Friday she works nights. No wonder she can't sleep.

Julia, I'm sorry about the little girl. It must be hard to be a parent these days. And I'd love to get a bike again ... we have these nice trails around here, especially around the golf course. But don't have the money (although I did see some secondhand ones advertised for pretty cheap). Well, can't afford it, got to buckle down and watch my pennies.

Anyway, time for lunch. Have a good day.
