marilyn...gosh..i know it has been a very rough few years for you and i sure wish the bright side would show up real darn quick for you! i know that you have made many changes in life and had hoped they would be for the better-just shows you are not a quitter!! having said that- sometimes you have to take it minutes at a time to get by...i know that i have had several mini breakdowns in each day lately --and yet i can't seem to have a good ol flat out breakdown...no tears no screaming no nothing but the mini breaks are getting to me too...

btw- you are NOT worthless- the whole country is still going thru crapola trying to dig out...you just got caught in it!! because of things like your situation, i pray every day to keep my job even tho it isn't the bee's knees!!!

hugs to you my marcher sister!!!! vent whenever needed!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Thanks Margo my Friend!!
You know more about what I have been thru then most & yes, I am still seeing the other person in my life & am very much in Love with him, which is the real problem
about the living situation I am currently in.
Billy is also trying to get back in, but, not even going there. Will never forgive him for having to get rid of my dogs & trying to kill me. He really thinks I will forget all of that. Not likely on this planet!!
Take care of you & of course Michael. Glad he did not have to have any more surgery.
Love ya girlfriend!!

No matter how bad you have it, remember, there is always someone who has it worse.  Keep looking for the job.  Never give up.  And if you can't work, do everything you can around the house.  It will make you feel worthwhile and needed.  Hope things with you and Lowell work out.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Marilyn - You are NOT worthless.  You are a strong woman - look at what you did for yourself with WLS and how well you've done!  You made the right choice for yourself back then and you will make right choices for yourself now.   You are important and you deserve to be put at the top of your priority list.

It seems that you have 3 not so good things happening in your life right now: the economy, Lowell and Billy.  I don't know who Billy is, but all I had to read was "get rid of my dogs" and "try to kill me," and I know I'd like to take a baseball bat to him.  (I know I can get one from George.)

But I know you have many good things in your life, too.  God will help.  Things will work out.  It may seem implausible, but they will.  Venting is good so vent away, my ears are open.

All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press
on to your destination.

Thanks Elaine for the prayers & good vibes. I will take all I can get these days. You
are right. To make a very long story short Billy is the brother of Lowell who I mistakenly got involved with last year. You are right he needs a baseball bat taken to him & if continues to try & get back into my life might just do that myself.  He of course
has tried to deny the fact that he ever tried to hurt me. He was very involved with drugs
& I was very naive to that fact how much he was involved. I would not have quit my job, got rid of my dogs (who I had for years) & leave town & go back to San Diego all
in 30 hrs time if this did not happen.
Anyway Thanks again for the support. I appreciate it!!

I know I'd like to take a baseball bat to him.  (I know I can get one from George.)

There just so happens to be 15 souvenir, autographed or game used bats within six feet of where I sit right now.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Hey, feel free to vent, that's what we're here for. You know I've done it too ... and I have a job, just one I'm not very happy about right now ... you know all about that.

You are not worthless just because you don't have a job. There are so many who don't have a job, it's just the way things are right now. Hang in there. If you can't get a job, try to volunteer because sometimes when the economy picks up, those volunteers are hired (and in the meantime, it will make you feel good about something and get you out of the house).

The support group will be good for you, I hope. If not there, then come to us. If not on the board, call one of us. I'm here for any of you, because so many of you have been here for me. This is my support group.

Don't wait a day or 2 to come back. Come back every day. Don't be a stranger!
