WHAT'S NEW TUESDAY

WOW i can't believe i am the one posting this morning!!! it is 3:40 AM and i can't sleep!! i am wide awake!! i even took a total now of 4 tylenol PM's and i am still wide awake!!!! WHY???? must be stress and if it isn't i have no idea why i am so wide awake!!! ricks aunt was thrown out of her home again and needed a place to stay...so guess who is the lucky ones that got her....yuppers us!!! i am not thrilled over this situation one bit!!! and he knows it!!!  sighs....

guess i will go read posts that i have missed so post away OFF family...

Good morning Judy and OFFers.  Thanks for getting us started Judy.  I am having a decent night outside of my computer being slow today.  But that is okay, I don't have much more to do on it, so I will read my book.

My Rangers were off last night, but we start a three game series against the first place Blue Jays.  Hopefully we can knock them back in their place.


Oh, and if anyone is wondering.... The Rangers have won 3 games and lost 1 when I wear my lucky baseball underwear.  TMI?

No, George, only the players who make gazillions of dollars a year can wear their lucky underwear during a winning streak. Sorry, dude.

Jesus Christ Superstar was amazing. Not the full house I expected here in the Bible Belt, but a good crowd anyway. We had a great time. I didn't feel really well after the Gyn appt. She cauterized the cervex (sorry guys) and I don't want to do that again, thank you very much!  Anyway, off to the radiology guys on Thursday for an ultrasound. Yuck.
If things weren't going badly enough, yesterday I was cleaning the kitchen, turned on the garbage disposal and there was a horrible noise. Thinking it was a scrubby pad (one of Karen C's) I stuck my hand inside to pull it out,(yes, I shut it off first) only to discover the noise came from my espresso shot glass that had gotten in there and was now glass shards. Cut my right index finger badly, plus another cut on my left middle finger.  Couldn't get the dang thing to stop bleeding. I seem to have this reoccuring theme here about bleeding. I think my K level must be down?
Now today I have to go to the funeral of a co-worker's mother. Sad thing to do, but we're very supportive of each other.

So, off to get dressed and do the morning ritual. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Susan, we had the same problem with stuff in the disposal. Found a wonderful little stainless strainer at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It fits right in the disposal side letting water through, trapping everything else. I'm sure that have them at any kitchen supply place. They also had a fancier one that was a stopper also, but I opted for the strainer only and love it.

That makes a big ouchie. Kind of like going to a barbecue only to discover you are the one getting barbecued.

We should wrap you in a cotton ball so you stay ouchie free.

Yes, that's right ... still have all my digits ... just got a little cut (they have a safety feature on the disposals). Don't know what I was thinking (actually, I wasn't thinking). Duh!

The very same.   It was tough this weekend.  I had a Saturday night game and a Sunday afternoon game.  I had to do a load of laundry when I got home from the game Saturday.
