WHAT'S NEW TUESDAY

Hi,

Today I am heading over to the yarn shop.  It has been a week since I have taken up the needles and I must say, it is good therapy for me. So, I gotta get these problems worked out and get those needles clicking again.

I am listening to this audiobook that is quite interesting.  It's called 100 Cupboards.  Just thought I would share that with you for no apparent reason.

So, that is the goal for today.

It's been far too long since I've knitted. Might just have to go through my stuff and see what I have. I'm starting to get the itch.

If  my hands are busy, I get in less trouble lol. 

Paula, I wish that I knew how to knit or crochet. I tried to crochet and made a scarf for mom one Christmas and it ended up looking like a Christmas tree and I counted the stitches. Not a pretty sight at all. Needless to say mom never used it but she kept it forever.....bless her heart. I guess mom's are like that......yeah they are. Gosh do I miss her so bad right about now.

brenda i am sitting here ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!! i have a story about me trying to make my mom and aunts a scarf for christmas....i have no idea how to crochet or knit but i tried crocheting using the chain stitch....well to make a long story short these scarves turned out to be small hot pads!!!!!!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOO and yes mom still has her "scarf" hanging in her kitchen so everyone sees her "scarf" that i made for her....LOL

Good morning ya'll.

Yesterday afternoon was spent juggling stuff.  We have 2 spare bedrooms.  Whenever I can't find a place for something, it gets put in the back one.  I leave enough room to get to my sewing machine and yarn supplies.  Our daughter and her kids come every summer and they need BOTH bedrooms.  So I spent the day trying to find places for things I should have put away in the first place!!  The local grandkids usually spend the night one at a time now that they are older.  The front spare room is always ready.

We are waiting for 10 AM so we can go to Radio Shack for some part for my DH's CB radio or something.  That means we will most likely stop at the WalMart next door to spend more money.  HOORAY!!  He gets to shop, I get to shop.  A win-win.

The closest Walmart to us is 45 miles away so it is a road trip.  Anyway, spend too much when we go lol too.

Judy...what a nice surprise to see you here so bright and early!! Hope the Aunt isn't there for long....you don't need that crap!! Send her to a homeless shelter.

George...sure hope your son finds a job soon. That is a rough spot to be in especially with small children in the house.I will send up some prayers for him and his family.

Brenda....hope you are doing okay...I am worried about you. I know this is a hard time for you.

Linda S.....send me some of the warm weather...it is cold here again today...brrrrrr!! 41 degrees...ugh!!

I have my boss in town all afternoon for meetings with all my clients. That will be fun!! I best get back to work and get things ready to go.
