Bariatric Advantage Creamy Bites saga continues
Hi all,
As I promised BA in my VERY terse tone, here are the details of my recent encounter with this company.
Two months ago I pre-ordered 5 boxes (the deal, buy 5 get one free) of the new Creamy Bites...$49.95 plus shipping. They were shipped on March 27th and never received. When they hadn't arrived by the end of the first week in April, I called them to see what was up. Seems they had sent my creamy bites to someone in California. No...sorry, I said, I don't live there, I live in AR.
So, they check my mailing address and send me out another order. Ten days later, I called again. Gee...we don't know where they are, but we'll send you another order priority mail. What do I do if they other one comes? Send it back, they say
Today I still haven't gotten ANY of the now 18 boxes of creamy bites they have sent me. When I called they didn't have time to track order #2, but did say that Fex Ex said I should get order #3 on Wednesday. When I got home tonight there was an e-mail from BA telling me they tracked the second box and it arrived. They didn't know why I didn't get it.
Being upset that some nimwitted neighbor kid took my box of creamy bites, I used the number in the e-mail and went to the USPS site only to discover that box #2 went, you guessed it...to CALIFORNIA!!!
I sent BA a nasty gram saying that after all of this didn't they think I might be entitled to some "gee Mrs Higgins we're so sorry" sort of account credit, free something or at least a nice parting gift? I'm sure telling them that I would tell this story over and over and over again on all of the OH forums I'm active on, not to mention my local support group, will make any difference.
WHEW I feel better. Thanks for tuning in and good night.

Dear Susan,
We apologize for your inconvenience, but it seems our shipping department has migraine headaches and is authorized to use marijuana medicinally. Unfortunately, all three times your order was processed, it was the first order after their medical break. Please make sure no police dogs come near the package when you finally do receive it.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
I do alot of online ordering and these kinds of things are a nightmare! I had an experience almost identical yours only it was machine embroidery supplies. The business was touted by all as a great place to do business, everyone was pleased, etc. Well, everyone said my order was the 1 in a million that fall through the cracks. Maybe so but it took a threatening letter from my credit card company before I got a refund because their records showed the order was delivered! Never did get a 'We're sorry" or even an atempted explaination of events much less a credit or parting gift! So while everyone else is still ordering and getting thie orders in record time, I'll walk to Timbucktoo before I order from those people again. I'm sure you feel the same way and I totally understand!!!
I do so much ordering online it's scary. Gary and my son both have amazon.com and e-bay businesses and they would never treat customers this way. I'm in a service industry and wouldn't have a single butt in my chair if I did people this way.
Then, there's Margo's point....what about the person(s) *****ceived boxes #1 and 2?? Who knows if they sent them back or not.
Believe me, if there was another way to get these, I'd be there!

Wouldn't it be wild if it turned out to have gone to a WLS person?? I didn't recognize the name of the first town in CA, but I'm familiar with Oroville, so I'm sure I would have remembered if it was the same place.
The customer service guy, Joe, couldn't even keep up with what I was trying to tell him. I finally had to use the number system (order #1,#2, #3) and even then he really didn't get it.
Customer service just ain't what it used to be, huh?
