post away

hugs and prayers to all.....
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good Morning Margo, Up for a potty break. I'm the only one who has been up so far tonight or this morning I should say. Clara ate dinner, drank 4 ounces from her sippy cup bottle (kind of transition to becoming big girls by 15 months!) and went to bed before 7pm. Hannah about 7:30. All's well so far. Erin headed out about 8pm taking Lucy (Maggie's puppy) to our son Nate's for the next 6 days. Lucy will get spoiled big time by Nate and Kristin and it will be peaceful around here. Maggie doesn't want to play with Lucy but gets very grouchy and maternal when Lucy and Bess play rough which they do a lot.
Josh leaves for school about 7:15am. By 8am I will somehow get both of them in their carseats and to daycare. Carseats have sure changed. They have almost outgrown their rear facing ones but not quite. What a bugger to get everything attached correctly. Like trying to wrestle active gummy worms! Then if all goes well at daycare I'm "off" til 5pm. Erin says since they pay whether they go or not to the tune of $60.00 per day they go if healthy. . . Mike will be here for the weekend so we'll get plenty of extra cuddle time then.
Margo, the trip sounds wonderful. When are you going and for how long? Like the others I saw the "hints" but figured you'd fill us in when you were ready. I'd love to go to Costa Rica. I've heard it's absolutely beautiful. We have friends who are now on the "relocation" cruise of a ship from the Caribbean to Seattle for summer season. Wonderful deal on the fare. They flew to Miami, will cruise the Canal and all ports in between and end up in Vancouver, Canada. I believe about 17 days in all.
Guess I'd better try to get a bit more sleep. Have a good one.

Nothing really new here. I keep getting up on the right side of the dirt.
Son still job hunting.
Rangers won again. This time against a pretty good pitcher.
Grandson's team won 13-5 on Monday. Have another game on Thursday, then a tournament this weekend. I took off from work for the weekend so I can see the tournament.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Your trip sounds like great fun, Margo. Hope the weather is good for you.
It is going to be 70 here today and 80 tomorrow and on Friday and Saturday we have a chance of snow. Love Minnesota living! going to enjoy the next two days.
Me and my lapband are still doing great. It has been four weeks and I have lost 36 pounds. I haven't had any trouble at all----nothing like I thought it would be. I didn't think I could do this at all going into surgery. I am surprising myself.
I hope everybody is having a great day today----it is also my 111th day without smoking----which has made my days so much better. Take care and Love, nancy

Nancy, It's amazing what we can do if we have to isn't it? Congrats on the great start with your lapband. . . . quadruple congrats on the 111 day without smoking!!!!!! By summer no one will be even able to catch your dust you'll be going and doing so much you haven't done in years. . . and breathing so much better!
Between the weight loss and your healthier lungs no one will be able to hold you back from anything!! Being 4 yrs post op it's wonderful to pop in here and catch a whiff of someone else's wow moments. And those are certainly big wow!

Margo, I can't believe you're still having such cold weather. You NEED a trip to a warmer climate.
It was about 75 yesterday with higher temps promised for later in the week.
I don't have any wor****il noon today so I'm going to work on some Saint Bella formulations. Trying to get just the right consistancy on a new cuticle balm. Lots of trial and error. It's not too bad though, my clients get the benefits of the "errors" when I take them to the salon as give aways. They get a kick out of being part of the process.
We met some of my friends at 4 Bucks last night for a cuppa. Gary finally went with me to meet the gang, then we went to dinner at a little Greek cafe next door. We split an order of falafal and a new-to the menu burger made with lots of parsley and garlic mixed into the beef before grilling. Yummo!
Okay, that's my story and I''m sticking with it. You all have a wonderful day and enjoy each other!
