It's Thursday & the Laughlin River Run is here this weekend. Lots of motorcycles converge on the area up to 50,000 of them. We are headed to check out the vender stuff today. Was in the 100's yesterday suppose to be somewhat cooler today, only in the 90's. Sorry folks that are still
trying to get spring. We wnet to summer overnight as usual. It is a great sound to have all those
Harley's ridin around, sounds like one  very big beehive. Always my favorite time of year & it only last 5 days & then they all go home. Have a great weekend!!

well the sun is shinning today but still on the chilly side!!! supposed to warm up nice tho!!! rick promised to show me some bike tricks he can do without hurting his leg...i can't wait to see this!!!! he keeps talking about the "bunnyhop" so now i will see what it is...LOL

bandit gets his haircut today at noon. he sure does need one thats for sure!!!

ricks aunt is still here...he promised me she would be out by saturday. she better be or else!!! i feel like i am the intruder here in my own place!!! sighs....

today i am off work and lucky me won't have to be there when they install the new pepsi machine!!! its gonna be one big mess!!! also the icee machine doesn't work again...we keep telling them to give us a NEW one but nope they just keep trying to fix this piece of junk!!! grrrrr

eileen isn't it amazing how people are on our BMI?? if they only saw us before!!! ricks uncle when i met him when i first moved here said i was a fat ass...i said me?? a fat ass??? i will show you a fat ass mister!!! i took out my before phots and showed it to him!!! he looked at it and said wow!! and then said i filled out my jeans nice now!!!!! i called him an ass!!!! (yes this is the uncle that threw out ricks aunt) he is an ass too!!!

margo have fun at your DAR party!!! also is it hard to do that knitting thingy you mention?? sounds like i might try it myself!!!

judy-go into walmart-the crafts ailse- the looms are hanging and there is a "tool" inside the package- you wind yarn around the pegs twice around and then you use the "tool" to lift the bottom yarn  over the top--that has made a stitch....simple- kindof like pot holders as a kid....i am still having a creative block so my regular knitting is not happening and i miss it but the looms are great!there are $0.97 booklets with instructions and patterns for different things....
try it!

Margo, thanks for mentioning this......I am going to get one of these and try my darnedest to work on doing it. I wasn't very good at making pot holders as a kid so I hope that I can do this. No one got a pot holder from me that is darn sure. ha ha  But....maybe someone will get a scarf or something from me. Can you make bedspreads with the thread stuff out of them too? I always wanted to do one in squares so I hope so.

start with a simple hat--maybe for baby kayden???
then work up to squares....

Today it is supposed to reach 80 degrees....I will be outside for sure soaking up the rays!!!  I love the hot weather!!

Today is Nic's 16th Birthday...wooohoo!! I called and sang our favorite bithday song to him this morning.
