I made it...

Well, I made it.  Everything went very well and my doctor was very pleased with how I fared and with all of my labs.  I came home last night and that really wore me out, but I was glad to get home.  I'm doing very good with my fluids and walking around.  I have some pretty intense pains on my left side where one of the incisions is, but I'm sure that is to be expected.  Thanks for all of your support and well wishes - it has helped me a great deal with my weight loss journey.

Ohhh, I hope I'm the first to welcome you to the loser's bench!
The pain on the left side comes from where they do most of the "work". I promise it will get better every day.

Gentle hugs

Susan

Hi Marlee....I'm glad you are doing okay.  Take care of yourself, rest, walk, sip, sip, sip, rest, walk and that's about all you should be doing for a few days.  Welcome to the Loser's Bench and pretty soon you can claim  "Big Loser" fame.

Gentle Hugs and Squeezes....Happy for you Marlee.

Congratulation Marlee.....Glad it is all over with for now. I hope your pain leaves soon. I had a pain in my right side for about 3 weeks, but I expected as much. I am three months out today.
Best wishes as you begin your weight loss journey. Lola

So happy you are home Marlee.  I'm even happier that your doctor is please and your labs are good.  Terrific news that fluids are going done well.  I'm sorry you are uncomfortable, but from what I've read, each day is better going forward.  Just take really good care of yourself, follow the plan closely, and in a few weeks you'll be telling us how much you lost.  Tell me how does the loser's bench feel?  Blessings to you!

Walking with you on this journey, Mary
