You are absolutely right. It will go to them from my surgeon, requesting the particular surgery, and the medical necessity for it. Then I guess it takes about 10 days and she gets the approval, in writing, from them. I'm with you, wouldn't that be the pits to have no coverage after its said and done? Shudddder at the thought.
