Coworker's 28 y/o daughter had a heart attack
My coworker's 28 year old daughter had a heart attack yesterday morning. The first report we got was she was not expected to make it through bypass surgery, she was 100% blocked. Cristin had no warning signs except that she felt "bad" Wed. night - backache and tired. Thurs. morning she felt worse and had trouble breathing. She was rushed to the ER and the family was told it's a miracle she made it to the hospital alive. The last report we heard around 4 yesterday was she had made through surgery, had a 50% chance of making it through the next 24 hours. The docs were worried about other organs beginning to fail, and if she survived, she would need a heart transplant ASAP. Cristin's family needs her. She has three children, a girl 6, and boys 20 months and 6 months. Please, add Cristin to your prayer list. My coworker, Ann, doesn't need any more stress. She fell at work two weeks ago and broke her arm, her husband had his toe amputated 6 months ago, and was hospitalized with chest pains while she was in the ER having her arm examined. Talk about trouble, this poor girl has nothing but trouble.
Now I gotta get back to work, it's backing up fast and I have to go to my aunt's funeral at 10:30. Aunt Marilyn was 78, and in ill health for the last several years. It was sad, but no shock when mom called to say she had passed away.
Thanking you in advance for prayers and good thoughts.

Debbie, what a tragedy this whole thing is. Your co worker and her family has certainly been through so much. Of course I will keep them all in my prayers.
I am with you and your family in prayers too while you go through the loss of your aunt. It is hard to lose those that we love but sometimes knowing that it was for the best makes it easier. But loss is loss and it hurts no matter what.
Blessings for you, our dear sister. Take care of yourself.

Debbie, I'm thinking of that poor family and the almost unbelievable string of troubles that has plagued them. Certainly I'll pray for them. How fortunate they are to have you as a friend. Blessings to you for all the concern and care you have for everyone, Mary
Walking with you on this journey, Mary
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Aloha Debbie.....Oh, your story made me flash on my son and DIL and their three little ones.....4,3 and 1. I can't even imagine my son trying to raise those babies all by himself! I do so hope that some miracle happens and that young woman pulls through this and has many more years to care for herself and her family.
I wish I had a magic wand.........oh yeah.
Aloha nui loa,
