Update on coworker's daughter

Thank you all so much for your kind words, good thoughts, and prayers for Cristin (my coworker Ann’s daughter). I spoke with Ann Sat. evening, saw her Sun. morning and spoke with her again last night and this morning. It’s still a wait and see, hour to hour situation. Every hour Cristin manages to stay alive is a step in the right direction. There doesn’t seem to be any brain damage!!! She’s sedated just enough to rest but remain responsive. Cristin is #1 on a nationwide transplant list for a new heart. What a difficult situation, knowing some one must die so that some one else can live.   Here’s a link to more info:   http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/cristinwallace

Aloha Debbie.....You are a great friend. Sometimes when horrible things like this happen, the real friends who come to our aid mean more than anything else. Love can be powerful. I get "chicken skin" when I hear about things like this. I do so hope it has a happy ending.

Aloha nui loa,
