Have to see Surgeon...

I posted on Carla's What's Happenin' Tuesday this morning that I've had some stoach pain, etc.  I called the Surgeon's Nurse a while ago and described what's going on with me and I'm scheduled for X-Rays, tests, etc in the morning so DH and I are driving down to Bismarck (220 miles) this evening as my tests are for early AM.  Ulcer? Hernia? these are the two that may possibly be the culprit but I didn't want to wait and see if it got any better.......Not a smart thing to do when you live that far from your Bariatric Surgeon.  I'll let you know when I get back home, hopefully Wednesday night.  Wishing every one else a splendid day and best wishes.

I am so glad to hear that you jumped on it right away Sandy.  Your symptoms are concerning, and it sounds like you are pretty uncomfortable.  God bless your travel and your testing.  I truly hope the answers are quickly forthcoming and have easy solutions.  You know I'll be thinking of you and waiting for your post upon your return.  God bless!!

Thank you Dear Mary.....I know these things are quite common after WLS and I am just so grateful that I haven't had any other problems whatsoeve in the 5 months since i had the surgery.  I am also grateful that this didn't occur months ago when we had so much snow, blizzards and highways being closed and such.  God  is Good!!   Thanks again for your blessings.
Huggers,
Sandy

Glad you are doing something even though it's a long drive.
Having lived in South Dakota and Montana, I know how far
it can be from your specialist. Hope all goes well.

Thanks Eileen and Gail for your replies and concerns.  At least the weather is decent, no snow, roads closed or flooding going on like it would have been had this occurred months ago.
I'll be just fine and I'm not nervous at all.....just want to find out what's causing the pain and what can be done about it.  I've done so well in 5 mths with no compications at all and losing 85 pounds.  Life is Good.....Thanks be to God and to all my friends on OFF for the concern and love I feel from all of you.
XOXOXOX

Whatever it is you should be able to fix the problem.  Good thing you're taking care of it quickly and not waiting to see if it gets better on it's own.  nip it in the bud.
Good thoughts coming your way.

Sandy,
Smart of you to go the long distance for an evaluation. You are probably there by now but I wanted to add my support.
Hugs
