When I have to carry something,like my pack of bottled water,I realize how much weight 10-15 pounds is! It also makes me so happy when younger people are getting the weight off,before they destroy their bodies.
I am sticking to protein drinks and cottage cheese for now. I need to pick up some yogurt,and cheese sticks.

Hi Ms Linda,
I am sticking to my 2 medifast protien shakes and a protien bar then veggies and salad and chicken or fish or something in the order. Not sure what. I am feeling better not eating all the carbs.
I even lost 3 pounds since Saturday.

Sometimes I feel so bad posting on this thread.  My food is so much different than most people on this board.

I eat quite a bit, but weigh daily to make sure I am doing alright.

Had a doc's appointment yesterday.  He was pleased.  We discussed my eating habits.  I told him I felt I ate too much junk.  He asked what I considered junk.  Told him pretzels, chex mix, nuts, etc.  He said for me, he would consider fast food and milk shakes to be junk.  And I honestly do not eat fried foods.  Maybe once a month.  Same with fast food.  And my fast food is normally healthy (something grilled).  But once in a while I just want a McDonald's cheeseburger.  My wife gets a kick out of me with it.  Burger and cheese.  The top of the bun goes in the trash immediately.  No condiments, except sometimes salt.  If I get a Sonic burger, no salt is needed because they season their meat.

George,I have enjoyed a Burger King burger,no bun,because they grill,don't remember when,but since WLS.
I want you to stop the guilt trip right now,young man!
We do not have to eat alike....

I know what you are saying, but sometimes I feel like it comes across that I am not reporting what I ate, but bragging.  When truly I am not.  That is probably one big reason why I do not post on the thread every day.  It's hard to explain, but my heart reaches out for those who are not as fortunate as I am when it comes to what they are able to eat.

People eat what they want,we are maintaining,you,Annette,Connie and myself,so it is different for us! I am having garlic bread tonight,and will put it on tomorrow's menu,I also eat noodles,potatoes,and rice, just think you don't notice...smile.

A day without cottage cheese would be sad for me. Sprinkled with Kashi Go Lean of course. Do your best to get in the nutrients.

I tried Okios brand of Greek yogurt. It has 15 g of protein, 0 fat, and 90 calories, all packed into a 5.3 oz. container. It is a nice change from Dannon Light and Fit, pricier too, but I like the thicker consistancy.
