What we are eating and what's eating us,Thursday....
linda hope you are doing ok today. just get in your nourishment
and make sure to rest as well.
george, there is nothing wrong with how you eat as long as you keep
your wls principals in mind, which i know you do. weight loss has
always been different for men, and it seems that holds true even
with the surgery, especially as time goes on.
everyone else, have a good day, i have no clue what my menu will
be, just doing coffee so far this morning. planning has always
been a problem for me,i dont like to plan. so i try to keep the
right stuff in the house then i cant make too many "mistakes"
the trader joe trip went well, i tried a chicken mango sausage last
night, was pretty good.
have other goodies to sample in the next few weeks.
hugs to all, jacki
I have wonderful news to report today. In February I applied for a permanent part-time (20 hrs/wk) job doing general office work, offered through the Northwest TN Human Resource Agency. It's part of a Senior Aides Program - you have to be over 55 and low-income to qualify. They might place you in a position at the library, or any state agency, or wherever. I totally forgot about this until a woman from the HR agency called me yesterday to ask if I could interview. So I have an appt. next Tuesday morning. It pays minimum wage - a heck of a lot less than I was earning before, but a heck of a lot more than I'm earning now. If I can just earn enough money to put gas in my own car and avoid having to ask my husband for cash, that would be a good thing.
B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: salmon, zucchini
S: cheese stick
D: beef kebabs, green bean & bacon salad
S: SF pudding

Good morning, sweet Linda. I have missed posting on your thread each day. I hope that everything is going well for you......I have been out of the loop for a bit.
I am just sitting here watching television...I have done nothing but that all week. Jeez I am so tired of watching television. But it is good that I have it and books but I am having a problem staying awake during reading. So that is the reason for most of the television watching.
I am not worrying about food for a bit. I am at the mercy of Bill while he is home and then when he isn't I have the frozen things to eat. I just have to pop them in the microwave so that is doable. Most of the time I don't have much of an appetite anyway. I think is because of the pain of the surgery and the fact that I had nothing but liquids while in the hospital. So.....when I got home yesterday I ate regular food and it filled me up very quickly.
I am sending you love and hugs and plenty of prayers are going up for you and yours. Know that you are important to me and we can do what we have to do for just this day. Let's not worry about tomorrow or even this afternoon or tonight. Let's just take care of this moment....and nothing more. Don't forget to share your beautiful smile with everyone around you........it is so beautiful and you should share it with everyone.
Hugs all around,
Sandy
