Back from Bismarck

Good Morning Friends...We arrived home last night around 6:00 driving in rain (hard rain) all the 220 miles. Tuesday morning I did the Upper GI , Colon and Lower Inst. Xrays....drinking barium, having pix taken, drinking more Ick, more pix for 3 1/2 hrs. but all the plumbing is working beautifully.  No hernia, ulcer, blockage, etc.  It is the gallbladder!!  I will have that removed laporscopically next Tuesday moring back in Bismarck.
I had suspicions it may be that.  The Dr and staff were delighted with my 85 pound loss in 5 mths.  I told them I felt great (except for this episode of stomach pain) and that I felt 20 years younger and they all said I looked 20 years younger.
I walked out of there on CLOUD NINE!!   LOL
Thank you all for you well wishes and concern..You're the Best!
Love & Hugs to all,

Sandy

Sandy,

Yuckies to barium. You will feel like a 10 year old once the gallbladder is removed. Best wishes.

Sandy...I am so glad you found out what the problem was. Gallbladder is a lot easier to deal with then hernias and other things it could have been.

My thoughts and prayers continue for you. I pray your surgery goes well on Turesday. I had it done lap and did just fine.

Love ya sweet lady....hugs....connie d

Good news Sandy, and gallbladder surgery is a piece of cake. I had mine removed about 15 years ago. I'm glad you are on cloud nine you deserve to be. Have a great day!

Sandy, I am glad that you found the answer and the gall bladder is an easy one to get though.

I will tell you what I was told.......you won't know how bad you felt until your get rid of the gall bladder, then you will know how good you feel after it is gone.

Annette told me the same thing about the hernia and it is true too.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Glad they figured out what it was. Sorry you had to drive that
far, but at least there was no snow ... is it flooded in Bismarck?
My friend Margie's son lives there, he does all the travel
arrangements for the N.D. National Guard (was in Iraq a couple
of years ago, too). Margie lives in South Dakota, but grew up
in Mott, N.D. I lived in Aberdeen, S.D., for eight years and
worked on the newspaper there.

Good luck next week! You'll feel better once the gall bladder
is out.

I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that...
I had to have my gall bladder out last May.  It was the easiest surgery I ever had. Wishing you the best!
