Back Online After Surgery
Hi Diane,
I was told about your post by my dear friend Karen C. I had surgery in May 2005 and stopped losing weight after about 5 months. I finally went to a surgeon last summer and I was told I have the same thing as you. I ended up with a fistula where the jujenum and small pouch meet and in the mean time my old stomach reattached itself to the pouch giving me 2 stomachs. The surgeon told me there is nothing they can do for me as its too risky. I am so intrigued and hopeful by the fact that you were able to have yours taken care of. I would love to talk to you and find out what all they had to do. I am going back to my original surgeon to talk with him altho he no longer does this type of surgey. Maybe he would consider doing a revision . I'm assuming yours was considered a revision. I'm so glad you are doing so much better.
Karen and I went to see Michelle- the Vita Lady and she said we have what is called "duel exhaust pipes." I thought that was kind of cute.
