SUFFERING SUCCOTASH SATURDAY!! WHAT'S NEW?
My top ten list for today is:
1) $4. Last Saturday it will be open at MY location.
2) Bank. Put my check in.
3) Walmart to return a pair of pants I bought for the cruise.
4) Ross to return a dress I bought for the cruise.
5) Dillards to return this ungodly expensive swimsuit I bought for the cruise.
6) TRY to have enough discipline to come home and CLEAN MY HOUSE.
I'm sorely disappointed that Candy and I aren't taking our short but much needed time off together. More school districts are closing. It was announced on the news that' perhaps it wasn't as bad a strain' here. We are better inoculated here than in Mexico so guess it's best that we are here. In any event, thank goodness we are all taking more precautions with our hygiene. Maybe, just maybe, at work we won't have so many Spring colds to deal with because of it.
Well, that's life in the fast lane. It's ho-hum.

Bummer about your fav Buck's closing. I'm certain that I alone keep my location open, so of course I can't miss even one day for fear of the guilt associated with it's possible demise.
Arkansas has so far, knock on wood, missed the flu. No reported cases yet, but it's just a matter of time. The emergency management team meeting Gary went to said for State offices to prepare to be down in staffing by 50% due to illness. Hopefully it won't get that bad. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
We're expecting 4-6 inches of rain here before Monday. I was too busy at work yesterday to get my ark out of storage, so I might be swimming home today.
Well, that's about it. Gotta get ready for another 11 hour day, including a bridal party. What a shame the weather is so bad for her special day. Hope she has waders under her gown!

janet-wow- your $4--bummer.....
very disappointed last nite-couldn't give plasma- iron was 37 -1 point low- and they are booked solid for today...it's a money thing-drive there and spend the gas to find out can't give is disappointing-ah well...
rain here too -and sposed to be in the 60's--our grass needs cut!!!!
passport applications are finally in the system -so it's a positive there- hoping and praying the flu doesn't have any effect --i am worried about the plane trip tho-not the flying but the germ spreading...and i think i need to start tanning...
got a very nice pm yesterday from someone with a compliment- me-always a nice thing --and was perfect timing cuz yesterday was a very emotionally challenging day for me--33 years ago yesterday i married my children's father...it alway****s me even when i try NOT to think of it--we had been together 3 years before marriage and married for 23 years--so add the 33 and the 3 and it's a chunka change!!! ah well....
so- my day is getting ready for carla and her gf....better get self moving i guess!!!

My original RNY Doc said never for us to give blood or plasma after having RNY sugery. I know you do it fo the money, but, your health might be at risk also. This was due to the fact that are we are prone to being anemic in the first place and giving blood
or plasma puts that risk even higher just a thought for you to think about. Maybe not
doing it for awhile.
Today is so nice out. It is sunny and suppose to be a lot warmer than it has been. Yesterday it was suppose to be warm but to me it was cold all day. You could touch me and I was cold.......even when Bill kept saying that it was warm in here. I sure hope that it is better today. I think it is going to be since right now I feel hot. My body temperature just can't figure out what it is going to do. I got the little temperature thing in my icons today. The Weather Channel decides what days it is going to have come on. It is suppose to be there all the time but I guess the Weather Channel only wants it on certain days of the month. Which if I am correct is just a few days of the month.
Bill and I rearranged the binder last night and so it is more comfortable for me. I just hope it stays like that. It has been so uncomfortable I can't stand it. It is a different one from the wls and I would rather have the other one. It seemed more comfortable if you ask me. But then I don't remember anyone asking for my opinion. I went all night without any pain meds so that was a good thing. I woke up with a bit of pain but it was more the stiff kind of pain. Nothing great so I figure it was was good since there hadn't been any meds for 12 hours. I took the pain medication just a bit ago and I can feel it kicking in. Since it is liquid it takes a lot less time to start to feel it. I will be so glad when all of this stuff is behind me and I can go on with my life as it was. I miss just being able to get up and jump in the shower and move quickly. Now I am moving in somewhat deliberate moves.
I better get going. I have gone on enough. I am sure that everyone knows what is going on in my life right now........nothing at all! It is driving me nuts! I am sending love and hugs to everyone and prayers for everyone is being said too. Stay happy today, dear ones and show your happiness to everyone that you come in contact with. It spreads happiness to others and yours will more than double.

well what is/was a pain in my beehind is now looking brighter for us....maybe!! i told rick if his aunt is going to stay with us she has to help pay the rent!! $50.00 a week. he said he would talk to her...well if she is here why not help us out??? we need the help right now big time!! so hopefully tonight when i get home from work he will have news for me one way or the other....we were over to his moms thursday afternoon to help her do a few things...went in the house and OMG it sure stinks cat pee!!!! the basement smells well it smells like a basement...needs a good airing out for sure!!! plus its damp down there and with her just out of hospital with pneumonia she doesn't need to be in that enviornment!! also the step dad is making passes at her...told her she couldn't stay there unless she "gives" him some....EWWWWWWWW i told her to kick him in his balls if he tried it again!!!! one thing he never tried on me and thats good because i would have castrated him for sure!!!
more cases found here on the flu...i think the news is blowing this flu way out of proportion if you ask me!! no matter what type of flu you get you can die from it....and to kill off all those pigs for no reason is stupid!!!! sighs....
weather here was rainy last night and today its overcast...not sure if it will rain again or not...
going to miss the kentucky derby today and part of the nascar race...bummer!!!!! i did see one horse on the news last night...i want revenge....a beautiful horse...and yes i hope it wins!!!! LOL did any of you tha****ch nascar see the wrecks last weekend?? first it was matt kenseth on saturday rolling several times and then sunday carl edward****ting the fence!!!! OMG!!!! glad they are all ok!!! few people hurt in the stands and one woman had a broken jaw i guess....she is now home from hospital i heard.
yesterday at work i was learning to decorate cakes!!! well writtingon them anyhow...dam it sure hurts my hand with the broken finger....OMG the pain of squeezing the tube and writting...i tried several times and am not sure i can do it or not...they told me to try again later...yeah if this hand ever stops hurting!!!! knuckle where it was broken is all black and blue from that....sighs....well atleast i tried to learn something new!!!
also yesterday at work i almost fell while trying to lift a case of water off shelf and foot got caught on the pallet!!! i caught myself tho...then i dropped a full carton of sweet ice tea on my foot...ouch!!!! then hurt my back lifting the almost full coke syrup...then the back hurting....i kept asking if it was friday the 13th....LOL just wasn't my day yesterday at all!!! hopefully today will be better for me!!!
went out for dinner last night...ricks aunt bought...had a good time...played a game of pool then ate. we got steak dinners and we were enjoying it and then she found a long dark hair on hers!!! EWWWWWWW waitress said she would get her a different dinner...NO THANKS!!! so she took it off her bill....that was nice. man what a waste of a good steak too!!! glad i didn't have a hair on mine!!! or ricks!! gezzzz guess we don't go back there to eat huh....
well time to get shower in and need to run to the store for a couple things before work today...hope you all have a great day....SMILE!!! might be the one thing for someone to cheer up today!!!! ;)
