Hi I had my latest WOW moment on My 12th wedding anniversary when I got out of the car and my son (who I hadn't seen for almost 2 years) saw me...I saw him right after my lapband surgery then he moved away. He looked at me and then did the 2nd glance and then yelled Holy F^*(^*( ****  I did not recognize my own mother...You look wonderful...He asked how much I have lost and Proudly I said 199 lbs    I even walked 8 miles in the woods at a Boys Camp in Alpine, NJ were he is a camp ranger. I love my new life...

Aloha Joanne.......What a wonderful post for the first thing in the morning! I have been craving a good WOW moment for awhile now, and there you are!!

It is the BEST when you live far away from friends/family and they don't see the gradual decline but get the full blown NEW YOU when they see you. You will never forget that look on your son's face I'll bet.

Thanks for sharing......love it, love it!!

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

That is great news!!!!  My wife has lost about 125.  Three years ago she was in a wheelchair.  Now she gets in trouble for running in my son's house.  And for rough-housing with the kids.  She loves her new life too.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Joanne, congratulations on the great accomplishments that you have had. It is a lot of work but the end results are just fantastic and do ever get tired of hearing those remarks that make things so worth while for us? I know that I don't.

Keep on going, sister and you will reach places that you could only dream about before.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
