Guess what? It's MONDAY!!!! What's new in your neck of the woods?
I'm sorry you missed Carla, she was really looking forward to seeing you and I know you were her. I guess I need to get tickets to The Chaos Experiment. Wonder when it will open here. I'm making it a point to go. How will I find you?
This is a place where we can bring our problems. Even if no one can help solve them, the support keeps us going.

I was going to wait until tomorrow morning's thread, but I could not hold it in.
My son is no longer unemployed!!! Praise God!!! He went to the first interview, at 8AM. For a GM position. They told him it would be for a trainee slot, at $10 an hour. He would basically become a GM once someone was fired or quit. He did not like the sounds of it, but he needs something. At noon, he headed towards the second interview. He was told to be there at 1PM. He was there by 12:30. At 12:40 he called and told me he got the job. He said he walked in and the gal at the desk is the spouse of the guy doing the interview. She said to him "I need your drivers license and social security card so I can start your personnel file. Then he went into the interview and was told by the guy that he had been incorrect, he can only start him at $13 an hour and he needs him to start tomorrow. But they will review in 90 days. It was then that they started discussing the job. Brad is excited to have this burden lifted off his shoulders.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Can you hear my moaning and groaning? We've been moving dirt and rocks and planting flowers. Shoveling and hauling wheelbarrows of dirt to the raised vegetable bed location. Ben Gay where are you when I need you? I think if the wind dies down I'll be sleeping in the hot tub. Hopefully I'll wake up if I fall asleep!
Tomorrow will be placing granite rocks, big ones, in place in the terraced shade garden area. We decided to terrace the area as water keeps just running off and puddling in one spot. So several hours later we now have three terraced beds. My neighbor had about 30 granite rocks, large ones, left over from landscaping. I had been coveting them all winter. Every day when I would walk by I would wonder about them. Finally figured out who they must belong to. They were next to the walking trail behind a house. They were happy to get rid of them. I even offered to pay them, but they said no! Yay! I'll have to take something over in appreciation. That is if I'm ever able to move again!
You all take care and have a nice evening.
