Guess what? It's MONDAY!!!! What's new in your neck of the woods?

Good morning all.  Not a bad weekend, but not great.

My Rangers won 2 out of 3.  And the one they lost they were winning 3-0 before the roof caved in and they lost 4-3.  I was at the loss.  Went to the Ballpark for the second game, but it was raining so hard I just picked up my Nolan Ryan statue and left.

Went to Sunday School and church alone.  Not something I do often.  Mary was sick, and we are together so much that when she is not there, I am bombarded with "Where's Mary?". So normally I stay home when she is ill.  I am glad I went.  Brad (my son) went to Sunday School for probably the 3rd or 4th time in 10 years.  His lack of employment and his problems with spouse have driven him back to the church.  That is a good thing.  My daughter even made comment that on his Facebook page he praises God for getting his attention.  She can't remember the last time he even mentioned God.

Gonna babysit Brad's kids while he goes to 2 job interviews today.  That means ZERO sleep.  I will probably nap a little, then, not go to my part time job so I can go home and sleep 3 or 4 hours.  Whatever it takes.

Brad really stumbled into the one job interview.  He says God put him in that place at that time for a reason.  It really looks promising.  Hope he gets it.  Please pray for him.  Wife and 3 kids, no job.  Wife only has part time job.

Thanks for taking the time to read and care.  I love you gals.

Margo....Mondays suck....I agree!!! ***SMILES***

As for me...I am going to try to just make it through the day. The temp is supposed to reach 73 degrees and that makes me very happy.

I had a nice weekend. Quiet but  a lot of fun. Friday was Dwayne and my 6 month anniversary. I got the most beautiful red roses. They are opening up and are so pretty. The two cards he gave me made me cry.

I best get started on my work day.
Prayers to those in need.
Have a good day everyone.

Love and hugs to all.....connie d

Judy, I am keeping your Mom in prayers for her health. I know it must be very hard to you to be so far away from her. No matter what happens she is still your Mom and you love her. There is no reason to feel any other way. What is is the past is in the past and over and done with.

There is no reason to feel guilty over the water that is over the bridge. Just know that I am keeping you in my prayers too. Things will get better one way or another. Just put it in your God's hands........there is nothing given to you that you and Him can't handle together. Together being the key word.

Love you, dear sister of mine!

Good Monday morning to you, George and my other OFF family. I hope that today is beyond good and it is nothing short of great for all!

George, I am keeping your family in prayers. I know that is rough on parents when their kids are going through tough times. Nothing happens in God's world by mistake........so there is a reason for your son to be going through this. And maybe he ha**** on the reason......who knows what is in God's plans but God himself? Just keep the faith and know that He will take care of it all.

Yesterday I got cabin fever and so we went to our nephews house and visited on the patio. It was nice to just sit and talk and drink my water. It was nice just getting out of the house for a bit. After we left there we went to Wal Mart and got a few things. I rode in the little cart since there is no way I could have walked that. Heck it tired me out just riding......oh how sorry is that? I to think that is the only way that I use to go to Wal Mart....how much things have changed and all for the good. It helps to go through times like this since it puts things in prospective for us and we need that at times.

It is suppose to get to the mid 60's today. I got the patio door open a bit and it feels so good having the fresh air. Misty is enjoying it too. As soon as I opened it she was right there checking things out. Now she is on the back of the love seat going to sleep. After all she has been awake for a wee bit and so we need a nap. I think she naps a half hour for every 5 minutes she is awake. Oh the life of a cat!

Today Bill goes back to work and boy am I going to miss him. I liked having him home the past 2 days. Saturday he went here and there but yesterday we spent the whole day together...that was nice. He is taking good care of me through this whole ordeal. If I need something he is right there helping me.

I am going for now. I will check back in from time to time since there is nothing in my life right now but this blasted computer. ha ha  There is a lot to be said for having a life outside of the home we have. ha ha  I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers going up for all. Have a wonderful day and remember to smile to spread out happiness to those who might not have any in their life. It will come back to bless us in other ways!

Hi, I had a crazy weekend. My house is a wreck getting the tile done in the kitchen. I am staying at my grandkids house while their parents are vacationing. School is closed for the next 2-3 days because of the swine flu. It can't get any crazier than that. Have a great day.  Mona

George:

My husband and son went to the Rangers' game on Saturday.  They finally left at 10:30 after another rain delay.  They had a good time though.  We are going to several other games.  Maybe we will see you again.  Glad things are better with your son.
