Hi Elaine,it is great to see you,and you are doing great on your weight loss. I hope planning your menu helps, but you can always write down the food you had the day before. Keeping a record, and being able to look back on it is very valuable.
Thank you for sharing, you would be surprised how many lurkers you help,in addition to us!
Keep trucking!

Oh, Linda - you know what they say about the best laid plans???

The Lady had me working for her until 9 pm last night and I didn't get home in enough time to put anything on the grill.  It was a quick little spaghetti meal that I wasn't really wanting.   I deal with this kind of timing way too often.

BUT, I still keep trying!

Marvelous Monday morning,
Here I am again.  Didn't meet Steve until Friday when we went out for Thai food.  He's not really a looker but very interesting, spiritual, handy and likes to cook.  The rest of the weekend was taken up with the garden project and I have to sore muscles to prove it.  Steve and I will meet for seafood tonight and then I have my monthly meeting with the Real Love ladies.  Doing well with my food but haven't been on the scale for awhile.  There is birthday cake here today.

B coffee/protein bar
L pinto beans/ham and grapes
D Seafood

Big hugs, CV Linda

Linda,

Boy, I'd be in trouble if any or all of my 7 dogs needed grooming!  They're all short-haired, so easy care, though I spend a lot of time trying to get dog hair off the furniture.

My job interview is tomorrow morning and about 15 min. ago when I was in the bathroom I caught sight of a pimple starting on my chin.  What lousy timing.  I am too old for this!  And I guess I ought to be mature enough not to even care about a stupid pimple.  But there's still a 15-year-old lurking inside me...

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: a few bites of ham salad and asparagus
S: a few more bites of ham salad
D: lamb kebabs, mushroom & spinach saute
S: SF banana fudge pudding with some PB2 in it (very good!)

Jean, you are too funny about the pimple! Pookie is so little (6 pounds),but she can manufacture some hair, and I know about trying to keep it off the furniture.
PB2?? Peanut butter I know, but the 2? I hope the small meals work better for you.
I wish the best of luck to you tomorrow, sweetie.

Linda,

PB2 is a reduced-fat peanut butter powder.  It can be reconstituted with water to make a paste, or just mixed into food (very good in protein shakes, for example).  You can get it at www.bellplantation.com.
