It's Tuesday, Cinco De Mayo. Que Pasa? (What's going on)

I normally don't start this two days in a row, as I like to give everyone a chance.  I did want to wish any of our Hispanic members a happy Cinco de Mayo.

I am in a great mood, considering I had no sleep yesterday.  As I posted in the What's New thread yesterday evening, my son is no longer unemployed.  Thank you for all the prayers.

Que Pasa in your neck of the woods?

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Nothing exciting.  Since hubby lost his job yesterday, we will be notifying creditors again.  We have some major decisions to make.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Paula, I am keeping you and your husband in my prayers during this difficult time in your lives. Just know that you can come here to vent and/or cry when it gets so hard for you and to rejoice when the time comes that he finds a different job. Needless to say we are all here for you whenever you need us.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Morning George, and congratulations to your son! What great news for your family.
Paula, so sorry your DH has lost his job. These are tough times for everyone. Hopefully things will work out for you soon.

Another wet week here in Central Ar. We've gotten almost 30 inches of rain since Jan 1 and I'm starting to grow moss on my feet. I love rain, but this is getting ridiculous!!!

I took my first Fosamax yesterday with no ill effects. I'm hoping this will be how it is every week. Sure don't like having to wait for my latte when I get up, but it's all good.

Okay....off to the shower and work. Hope you all have a wonderful day today.

Susan

morning!
george-as i said last nite- whoooooo hoooooooooooo for your son and family!

paula; i am sorry that you and hubby are going thru this turn of events...

isn't it frightening, at our ages, the things that we are faced with right now-unemployment and health issues- i know we all grew up thinking these would be the greatest years of our lives! i do feel gratitude for the things that i have and the health that i have increased/improved from my wls --yet; i get reflective to see good and bad in regards to employment in the same thread in just the first two posts...sorry- had to get it out!

today is work and should be plasma but i am takingthe day off- i am thinking my iron will still be low and i have some things around teh house i need to do -on plasma days ; i leave home for work and don't get back til after 7 pm and then don't feel like doing anything  so i am staying home tonite-

michael bought fresh picked asparagus yesterday so we will have that and baked chicken for dinner-yummo!

well- i sat and paid some bills online and did some figuring for our expenses at home and our upcoming trip and i must now get scootin to get to work....

my super's daughter had her MRI and they found cancer spots back on her spine-not good- she is so young...so i am sending special prayers there ....

hugs and prayers to all of you, my family!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo, prayers continue here for your supervisors daughter. How old is she....I believe that you told us but I forgot.....I do suffer from CRS don't forget.

I pray that things work out well for her and her family. It has to be so hard for your supervisor and entire family. They are all in my prayers also.

supe is very depressed right now and it is touchy at work...we think there is more than they are telling on her web site....

she was in her music program last nite and seemed to have a very great time!

thank you for the prayers; i believe they help!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
