Linda,

Aw, you had to go and say "garlic bread".  That's one thing I do miss since WLS (bread gets stuck in my stoma, even when it's toasted).  But it's probably just as well that I can't eat it, because one piece is never enough.

I'm off to my job interview this morning.  I'm a little nervous, but psyched.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: lamb kebabs, mushroom & spinach saute
S: cheese stick
D: ham & sweet potato cakes, asparagus
S: SF pudding

Hi Jacki, hope all went well at the dentist. Why do our pouchies get so darn finicky!! That is why I keep my menu simple, everytime I venture out or almost everytime,I get kicked in the butt.
Take care!

Good morning, my sweet Linda! I hope that you have a absolutely wonderful day today and tomorrow and forever!

I am planning on going to the grocery store to get some bottled water. I want to get out again. I had a taste of it Sunday and now there is no keeping this one down. ha ha  Maybe I should say that the one thing that keeps me down is the pain. I was having a pretty good amount of pain yesterday and I think that was since I was up so much on Sunday. So there is a shower in store for me this morning and then I am off to the store......thankful that they have little electric carts. I wish I didn't have to use them but at this moment in my life I will take them and thank God for it.

Food is what it is today just as the past week. Nothing exciting but alright. I just don't seem to have much of a appetite.......I guess it must be what you said yesterday......I am not near as active as I use to be so I am not needing food like before. Oatmeal for breakfast....deli meat with onion and mustard for lunch.......and chicken for dinner with veggies. If I have a snack it will be a pack of cookies.

Have a wonderful day today and remember that I love you and send you huge hugs to go with all the love. Prayers are going up for you and yours as always.......and don't forget to smile that gorgeous smile for everyone. It brings so much sunshine and pleasure to everyone. More than you would even know.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hey Brenda, make sure you get plenty of rest, and please, please try and keep the protein up.
I know it is hard staying inside,I use the scooter all the time at the store, the surgeon told me and showed me today,I have no cartilige in my right knee, surgery is in a month, just gotta do labs and such.
I will keep smiling,if you eat protein...
Hugs!

Hello Linda,

I am here in Virginia at last. It was a long rainy foggy trip.

It is always interesting to read what others plan for the day. We are not here to judge, and it has never felt like that to me.

Your menu sounds extra yummy today. Can I come eat with you?

Kisses

Annette!!!!!! So good to hear from you,and I am glad to hear you arrived safely!
I forget that new people do not know I do not eat white bread! My garlic bread was made with Ezkeil, and it did not matter,2 bites and I was done.
I was not able to eat much, and after my doctors visit, just a yogurt to get my meds down,am upset about surgery,as you were kind enough to comfort me about.
You definitely do not judge, and that's the truth!
So,no dinner, really, and a change in breakfast,to a cheese stick,oh and ...well...never mind,I was not able to follow my menu, still not eating enough, but I have a huge protein shake with fresh strawberries waiting for me.
If this is the way I must eat, then so be it.
Hugs,dear one.

Linda.....hello my wonderful friend!!

I don't think anyone should feel judged here for what they eat. What is right for one person to eat might not work for someone else but so what. This is just a good way to keep track of how I eat. I don't judge anyone. That isn't what this is about. **SMILES**
