I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

nothing much worth talking about here...
my bad ankle is killing me- falling apart from the inside -means the barometer must be falling and we must be getting "weather"....days  like this make me very glad for my sit down job....started a new task at work- not doing my court records for a while til this project is done- must say that i don't care for it already....ah well...
DAR trustees meeting this afternoon- we are dismissing the live-in caretaker from our house and it will be ugly...

hugs and prayers..........

Morning one and all!

Well, I'm growing mold on my butt and moss on my feet. We got another 4.6 inches of rain overnight, thundered all night, and I'm tired of it. Margo, you're getting weather, alright....I'm sure what we've had is headed your way. Get your boat ready, it's a rough one.

Other than the weather, there isn't much from my end either. Hope your meeting turns out to be not as bad as you expect. Never good to have to dread something like this.

Everyone take care.

Love and hugs

Signed,
Soggy Sue

Good morning Margo and everyone......

It is a beautiful morning here today. I went out for my daily 3 mile walk. I even jogged a little....however my knees didn't like it much..... I best stick to power wallking!!

I am heading over to the tanning salon in a bit.I always look so forward to that part of my day. I love the heat. It does my body good!!

Later this afternoon I have an appointment with my new
Rheumatologist. My other doctor retired for health reasons. I miss her. She was so awesome. My arthritis has been so bad....my fibromyalgia too. Hope I can get some relief.

Have a wonderful day everyone. Prayers to those in need.

Love and hugs to all....connie d

Morning everyone.  Connie I'm struck by your conditions...I too have fibromyalgia and arthritis and bursitis and just about all the itis's I think.  I was in a chair for 2 years not moving, put on a whooping amount of weight, and my rheumatologist changed my life and really started this journey for me.  It all has to do with meds.  I will sound like a commercial now, but here goes.  First I started with Lyrica, oh my goodness, what a huge change, moving now.  Increased slowly to max dose and along with it came more activity.  Then he added Cymbalta and ding, ding, ding, the winner...me!!!  That combination is awesome.  Yes, I still hurt every day, but I can generally push through whatever.  Perhaps you've already discovered this treatment and love it too, but perhaps not.  I do hope you get more relief than you have now.  Prayers to you, and plenty of blessings!!!

Walking with you on this journey, Mary
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Thanks Mary....I just keep on trucking. The pain sucks but it sure doesn't keep me down!!

I will be anxious to hear what the new doctor has to say!

Hi Margo and my OFF family:

Gray and gloomy here too ... my body hurts but at least I don't have a headache. Will keep it short because I have to go back to reading my book for the book reviewer gig. I'm halfway through book 1. Sure would make it easier if I could read it at night in my recliner, but I'd have to print it out and that would be too expensive. So I have to do it at the computer.

Not much going on here. You've all heard all ready about the movie. That's been the bright spot in a real downer of a week. I'm super depressed and will say no more about my woes.

Sox blew another game last night ... this time good hitting early, no hitting in the clutch late and no pitching late, too many walks.

Well, off to my part-time job. Have a good day.

Not much, just $50 for reviewing 3 books. Just wish they would have sent me the stuff in the mail rather than via e-mail so I wouldn't have to read it at the computer desk. But it's something.
