What's New Thursday?
Debbie, I didn't get the drains out~nope not a one! I am going to see him again next Thursday and we might get rid of one or two...maybe.
There is some bleeding from the navel and a foul smell too. I have to wash over it with a wash cloth....which I have been trying to do without getting water on it.......hard to do......but then I pat it dry...which is another thing I have been doing....then put a gauze over it with tape. I wasn't told to ever put that on it. So I went and got them and now I am set.
It does feel somewhat better with the gauze on it. It doesn't seem to rub near as bad. He did take some of the stitches out. Well...he took out some of the steri strips. He did tell me that I am probably going to lose some skin around the navel too. That is ouchy from what my sister tells me. It takes off the top couple of layers and then it seeps. It burns for about a week or so. Oh well....there is a means to an end.
