1 year ago today!

I am wondering how to celebrate this milestone today. Do you all have any ideas? It can't be anything to physically demanding as I am down in my back. I was thinking about going out to eat but that is the kind of celebrating I did when I was 388 lbs. So I want to break that cycle! If you have any ideas let me know! Thanks Michelle
Oh this is an easy one for me..... shop. Most of my shopping was done at thrift stores. I didn't want to spend a lot on clothes that I would not fit in a couple of months.
Sit with a catalog ... I like Penney. Look at the asseccories, purses, shoes, how about a piece of jewelry? No need to look at foods or think of a meal as a treat. A trinket that reminds you of your 1 year journey.
CONGRATULATIONS You lost a whole person.....

Good morning to you, Michelle, and congratulations on the great accomplishments you have made in this past year. I know just what you are talking about when you look back and consider what was and what is now.
I am with someone who said about getting something that reminds you of the accomplishments you have had. I am not sure just what that would be but maybe you might have an idea. I would think that maybe a piece of clothing that you always wanted but couldn't wear it since it wouldn't have fit or because you know you would have looked bad in it. I have the saying that just because it comes in your size doesn't mean that you should wear it. I sit back and look at some of the things that people fit the 8 great tomatoes in and shouldn't!
Pat yourself on the back for the hard things that you have gone through this past year and know that only great things await you in the coming year!

Congratulations Michelle,
I love a piece of jewelry to celebrate special occasions. (or no occasional at all
) One year of hard work deserves something memorable.
a bracelet with the date of your surgery inscribed would be a cheerful reminder.
I suggested to my hubby, a bracelet with a diamond for every pound lost, or maybe it was every 10 pounds, can't quite recall. Darned man nixed the idea.
Good job

Well to let you all know what I did for my anniverary I did go out to eat on the way to Meijers. We needed some grocery items and they were having a good sale on crystal light! Buy 2 get 2 free! Also they have a great sale on laundry detergent buy 1 huge bottle and get 2 free! Can't pass that up but it is about 1 hour away from here so have to make it count. Anyway I bought myself 2 new outfits as they were buy one piece and get the next piece 50% off. I bought 2 pairs of pants and 3 tops. I probably should have only boughten one outfit but with them being on sale it was almost as cheap as a consignment shop. And it was a very good brand, Sag Harbour. So got them a little snug so when I lose more they won't look like a sack just hanging on me. Now I have to wash them so I can wear them tonight to a mother/daughter banquet. My cousins 2nd wife asked me and a couple of other older women to go with her. We are all too old to be her daughters but we will have a great time together. I picked up a dozen white roses to share with the ladies as they were on sale for 7.99. Got a bunch of bargains for everyone! Have a great mothers day ya'll!
