Hey Jacki,  I'm back to work today too!  Remember we have to take care of ourselves!  So take it easy!  One day at a time or one hour at a time is good too!  Thanks for being my cheerleader while I was in the hospital!  One day I will share with you my mva history. (I've been hit by 2 eighteen wheelers, an international dumptruck and headon by a drunk driver.)  My life was spared each time but not without complications and issues!  Anyway, big big hug and a bunch of love!

I hope the day brings you pleasure at work.  What a positive move to being "normal" that is.  You have to have cabin fever by now.  Being inactive for a time is so very difficult.  I hope the additional therapy is effective and that its not necessary to move to more difficult ways of improving it.

I broke my anke, badly, in 3 places and right into the joint about 22 years ago.  No therapy was ever ordered.  Big mistake.  It is held together with a bunch of hardware, and to this day is prone to reminding me I didn't do it right.  I'm happy you are having additional therapy, and wish you the very best with your results.

Hugs coming at you!!!  Mary

Sorry you're facing more therapy and the possibility of more
surgery. After my knee surgery and all the therapy, I know
I didn't want more myself, and mine was self-imposed (sort of).
Yours was from an accident. I hope it turns out OK. Therapy
is a pain in the ass, there's no easy way to say it. I know it's
necessary but boy, it grates on you after awhile.

chiming in a day late and a dollar short-it was strongly suggested to me to have the screws and metal removed from my ankle "fix" so that if i ever fell again it wouldn't act like a crow bar under concrete...tho my injury wasn't as bad as yours..

glad you are back to work and i am sure the mental aspect had to do wonders to get out and be part of the world!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

thats interesting margo.  i think this is a whole new area i have to
think about.

im going to talk to the therapist next week about seeing this ankle
specialist my doctor mentioned.  im thinking there may be more
i still need to learn about this injury down the road.

thanks for your input.
