Update on Cristin
Cristin will have surgery tomorrow to have an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) put in. This will enable her to go home at some point to await a transplant. It's a good thing! Ann, Cristin's mom (my coworker) is of course very stressed and nervous about the surgery. What mom wouldn't be when her child is facing heart surgery or any surgery for that matter?
Cristin successfully fought a very high fever and infection over the weekend! She's one tough cookie! She has beaten all the odds thus far.
For me, sorry I haven't been around much lately. Been working 10 hours a day, doing my part holding down the fort here at work, trying to keep my head above water. Not complaining, I've got it easy compared to Ann.
Please continue to keep Cristin in your prayers, good thoughts, and/or positive vibes.

Debbie

Debbie, I just wanted to let you know that I am keeping Cristin and her whole family, including Ann, in prayers for God to keep them all close to Him and give them peace, acceptance and understanding for whatever happens.
Cristin is one fighter, that is for sure. She has went through some fight and came out a winner. I am sure that she will continue to fight through the challenges that is upcoming for her. May she continue to be the fighter that she has proved to be.
And Debbie, my dear and loving sister, I continue to keep you in prayers also. You are spreading yourself very thin and I fear what is going to happen to you if you continue. Please take time for you......you need it and are worth it!
