TGIF-What's new?
Morning one and all,
Old dog got me up at 4:30, but I managed to get him to go back to bed until 5:00. Now he's asleep on the couch(where I should be) and I'm up sharing my day with my friends here.
I have to work late again tonight so Gary's going to meet me for dinner. Not sure where we'll go, some place where we can share a plate most likely. Long day tomorrow, then I plan to relax and do NOTHING on Mother's Day. Yeah, right. We are planning on going to the new Star Trek movie, and I'm having popcorn WITH butter. My MD treat! Don't know what the family has planned, if anything. Jeff and Tess went to the ST movie last night at 10:00, so I can't wait to hear from them to see how they liked it.
What nerds we are.

today is work and -hopefully!-plasma
have no clue what my weekend will bring-yardwork? craigslist listings? genealogy if i can help it! planning for my cemetery trip with mom and the panama trip with michael.....
roxiethewonderdog got loose yesterday just as i was leaving (early) for work--she went thru the yard and up onto the bike trail behind us- was sniffing all the doggie smells from folks walking along...i grabbed a leash and traipsed over (thru 3 yards of very wet grass!!!) and got lucky! she walked right to me, excitedly wiggling her tail and i latched her up and brought her home to get bathed and confined...had to change both my shoes and socks before i could leave for work! and ended up staying over to make up the time for which i was going in early....
went tanning yesterday for the first time- interesting concept! can't wait to see results! understand that it doesn't happen immediately --not sure how soon i'll be able to go again---i agree with connie; the heat felt wonderful on the bod!
gas is back up here- at 2.26 a gallon...boooo
isn't this a wonderful country? freedom of speech so that ppl can call us bad names and we just blink and go "oh!" without even getting our feelings hurt or batting an eye....oh -wait--i should get down off my orange crate before i offend someone or their cohort--- and it's too early in the morning for that!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
