Good morning, all,
The sun is shining here in Virginia!! Our grass needs mowing badly and think that is what the husband has planned for the day's work.
I will work at the office until noon or so and then after lunch will go to the farm for some R&R. Have a full day of Emmaus tomorrow and then the grandkids are coming Saturday night. That is why I am resting up this afternoon!

Gas at our WalMart jumped from $1.75 to $2.05 per gal. in two three days. Could it be they're all raising the prices early for Memorial Day? I know it's a few weeks away, but maybe they want to start early in hope of raising it even more.
Definitely I'll take the hugs and prayers and return as many or more than I get!

Well I am having a good time with my daughter and her boyfriend.
I got my hair colored and highlighted and trimmed. I look 20 years younger!!!!!
Yesterday I went garbage picking in the rich neighborhoods north of chicago. It is when they advertise that theyput out their discards and you can go thru the neighborhoods and get what you want. We got yesterday a slew of childrens books, Patterns. my daughter got 3 beautiful dinning room chairs. Michael would love it Margo. I was going to call him today and tell him all about it...... ya I will!!!!! Miss you!!!!!
Today I am going to go and unload my car at Paulettes so I have room to goa nd get Brenda on Monday so we can go to Michigan ant ake my cousin vback to Muskegon.
I have already put 2700 miles on my car.
We were going to go and see the Star Trek movie last fnight cause I cansee it for free. But the transformer went down in Glenview where Liz boryriend works at thbe movie theaterand it is closed yesterday and today.
We may see ittomorrow.
Well on with my day.

Good Morning Margo and everyone.....
It is a cold damp day today and my body isn't liking it. It is about 53 degrees right now....nowhere near warm enough for me!!
I went for my three mile walk at 7:00AM. Then I drove over to a few garage sales in the area until it was time to go tanning at 9:00. No great bargains out there today.
Margo...glad you are enjoying the tanning...I think you can go longer then 3 miinutes....they are just trying to keep you there longer by limiting your tan time. They can push more people through that way. Just my opinion!
I don't have to work today and that feels great. I am going to do just as I please today and nothing more.
I am having lunch with my daughter and grandchildren on Sunday. That will be a nice Mothers Day! I sure wish my other daughter and family could be there as well. I miss them all so much!

I can't wait to meet her in person.
Travis (15 years old) kicked me out of the kitchen for clean up duty. How sweet of him and he did a perfect job. He also helped Lindsay practice her pitching without being asked. Yeah, he is making me proud.
Lindsay (10 years old) dotes on Grandpa and vice versa. She is in awe of his height and loves his weird sense of humor.
She batted her eyes at me and said we might need to make an "emergency run" to Justice - a clothing store. We always go shopping there but her Mom always drives, so I haven't a clue how to find the place. Lindsay and Tom found the address and at her urging, he programmed it into the GPS.
Their water tastes yucky so I went and got a brand of bottled water that tastes good to me. Without enough water my body doesn't feel right. All better now.
Time to walk the dog.
