Pre-op Liquid Diet

I started my pre-op liquid diet today.  I am sure it is going to be a challenge but I cant wait for the end results.

I bought Atkins Advantage - should I put it in a blender with ice to make a pretend shake.  Any suggestions out there?

if you are talking about the ready to drink atkins in the soft containers, i drink them
just the way they are

sometimes i add a little decaf coffee to them to make a more coffee based
drink

but no reason you cant add ice and blend.  i dont like a frothy blended drink, so
i never did

I used one of the Dark Chocolate, added six frozen black cherries (no sugar), and 1/2 cup or so of crushed ice. Whizzed it with my stick blender and it was good! Nice icy texture, not foamy!
You won't want the cherries on the liquid phase, I guess, but you could enhance with SF flavors or extracts.
Good luck on your surgery. Mine is coming up in a few days, too. 

I just wanted to wish you the best of luck as you start your new life!! I lost alot on my pre-op diet which was 2 weeks before my operation,it took some fat from my liver and made it easier for the doctor to get around.

I usually just drink them over ice.  I love the chocolate.  The vanilla is OK.  Yesterday I posted on another forum that I put a little SF Kahlua flavoring in the vanilla and it was yummy.  Poured over ice it tasted like Kahlua and cream.

I'm sure you can try other SF syrup flavorings too.
