Happy Annette got some water, and that Angel is going to a special dinner, everyone is doing their thing. I hope Bornagain stays with us,I will miss her if she goes!
If you watch one movie this year, make it the one about Benjamin Button,it is beautiful and an eye opener, much food for thought!
Today I ate a apple,2 cheese sticks,some popcorn,and most of a Healthy Choice sirloin meal,stringbeans and 1/4 of a smoked sausage.
Take care all,and enjoy your families!

Good morning Linda....sounds like you ate a little better yesterday...that is good!

As for me the pain is horrible...this is a Vicodin kind of day. It is damp and cold again....42 degreees...ouch!!

I was thinking about going to see my daughter and grands a day earlier but think I will just rest for the day and see them tomorrow as planned.

Dwayne and I are not doing well. This has been ongoing for a couple weeks. Last night was the final straw. If you can't trust who you are with you have nothing!! He makes bad choices when he drinks too much.....I will leave it as that!! Wish I could say I am sad about ending it with him but I am not. Too much trama and drama for me!!

Eating today will be protein for sure....no idea what or when.

Have a wonderful day sweetie!!

Love you....hugs...Boo...to you!

Connie,

I know from my divorce how hard it is to end a relationship, but you really need to take good care of yourself, and staying in a bad relationship isn't going to accomplish that.

42 degrees?  That's why I'm glad I live in the South!

Hope you feel better SOON.

Jean

Connie,

My X gave me good words of advice when he asked, "Would you be happier with me or without me?"

It was kind of tough but our marriage ended after 20 years and 1 day. I have been very happy without him.

A big HUG to you
Kisses

Annette....thanks for the Big Hug and kisses too!!

It was a hard decision to make. When he is not drinking he is a great person. When he drinks it gets like Jeckal and Hyde. I couldn't do it anymore. He is pretty angry right now. I am sorry about that. I did what was best for me....I will not change my mind on this.

Kind of a lonely day...even with friends.

Love you too....hugs....connie d

Dear Connie,I am sorry to hear about Dwayne, sounds like you did try to make a go of it. I had to drop Romeo, turns out he drinks beer all the time, and he yelled at me,deal breakers!!
I am so sorry you are hurting, the weather sounds terrible,I know if I had to live in damp state,I would not be able to walk at all!
I hope your day gets  better. I at least stopped the damn morphine, but I must have the vicodin.
A special soft hug to you.

Hello Linda.....sometimes the things we have to do just isn't what we want. We end up needing to do what is best for us anyway.

I tried to spend time with friends today....you know how it is. You can be in a crowd and still feel so alone.

I will be fine....thanks for thinking of me. Sorry about Romeo...it hurts none the less doesn't it?

Love you sweetheart....hugs...Boo....to you!

Connie you are so right! Romeo kept calling after I told him it was over. I told him that the man I saw at the mall, actually disappeared. I know about being lonely,it was nice to have someone for awhile. It is more of a relief to have him gone though..
I love you Boo!

Linda,

I'm so glad I went to the ortho doctor yesterday.  I saw the PA, who is wonderful, and she confirmed the bursitis diagnosis and gave me a shot of cortisone and anesthetic in each hip.  These shots were nothing like what my PCP's nurse did - those were just shots in the butt.  The ortho PA did the shots right into my joints (not as painful as it sounds, just a lot of pressure).  I was a little sore afterwards but last night I did not wake up with the hip pain one single time.  Yeah!  It's a miracle!  No pain and finally a good night's sleep.  She also prescribed physical therapy (3 days/week for 2 weeks).  PT is time-consuming but I love the therapists at the rehab place I use and it's right next door (affiliated with) my gym.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: pinto beans w/ salsa & cheese
S: cheese stick
D: mustard chicken, coleslaw
S: SF pudding
