Kansas City, Kansas City here I come.
I'm on my way out the door heading to Kansas. I want to sing, going to Kansas City, Kansas City here I come.
It's a great day for travel, not too sunny and, so far, no rain. My daughter is bringing my grandkids here and they are going with me. We have two zoos and a museum on our agenda. My hubby is too sick to make the trip but he is happy that I feel like going and can go alone.
I'm like Karen, I run not stop and do and do and do. When I went up north for the conference and out west for the conference, my friends couldn't keep up with me. In fact, one of the young girls kept saying, my god, woman, slow down.
I wish I could take my bike because where my son lives is so flat that I'm certain it will be good bike riding territory. Oh, and there is a little outlet mall that I'm going to visit and even if I don't buy anything, the fun of doing all tht walking amongst series bargain hunters is a thrill.

Enjoy those grands and the freedom of your body!! I've never been to Kanas City, and only association I have with Kansas is Dorothy and TODO! Ha!
Aloha nui loa,
Maui Karen
I have always been high impact as far as the energy goes. That was the problem with my obesity: I wanted to run and rip and my bones and joints were just not going to run and rip with all that weight. Now, though, I go non-stop. I actually did well in the drive from NW Arkansas. I stopped for the four year old to go potty and carried the one year old in to the store and let her have some freedom walking around. Then we loaded up on healthy snack food and headed back for the remainder of our journey. They got a little restless towards the end, so I was stopping a lot. Previous to wls, I would not have even tried it alone, let alone with babies in tow. I love having my life back. This morning, the clouds rolled in and all I could do was think about: the house began to twitch and follow the yellow brick road.
