DREAM WALK 2009

Today was the Dream Walk from Obesity 2009 at Long Beach, NY.  It was a fantastic day and for the first time in my life I walked three miles!  I never could have done that before my surgery! 

Here is a picture of some of my friends and OH people who came to the walk. My daughter Heather is right next to me!

Marcia, Oh the things that others take for granted.I still get so excited doing things that I  could not do 5 years ago. May we NEVER forget how far we have come. Congratulations and thanks so much for sharing!

You are so right... Three years ago I couldn't walk out to get the mail without getting out of breath. Now I was able to walk three miles without getting tired.  What a difference our surgeries have made in our lives! Thanks so much!

Thanks Margo! I had my RNY in September and Heather had her's in December.  We are really on this journey together!

Marcia,  This is wonderful!  I'm so happy for you and your daughter.  It's such good exercise too.  Isn't it wonderful what we can now do?  I saw your pic on Facebook and I was amazed! 
I wish OH would do something like this in my area...
