Good morning Karen and everyone...

I had a nice moms day...sounds like everyone else did too!!
My grandchildren were so funny....just what I needed!!

I have a meeting with my boss today at 1:30....hope it goes quick. He is a really nice guy but I am just too ansy today to sit around much.

Karen...your travels sound like so much fun. Wish I was with you!

Judy...ugh...still have the Aunt...how long will she be there this time??

Margo....I bought a little red dress with small little white dots and white trim at Walmart. I just love it. Nothing wrong with dots!! Maybe your hubby thinks you will look too sexy in it. Keep it if you like it. He probably wears things you don't like!!

I need to get back to work. Glad everyone is doing so well. Prayers to those in need.

Love and many hugs....connie d

connie-now i'm laughing!!! i meant Dots the store...maybe you don't have them???? it's not a real classy place but clean-not high $$-- actually geared toward juniors and younger women---oh gosh!!!
the sundress i bought at wally's is a beige with dark brown trimming around the hem...and a brown sweater...
oh gosh!!!
love it!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good morning Karen and all you other OFFers.

Thank you for getting it started Karen.

Eileeeeeen....  2 out of 3 on back to back weekends.  That's all I will say.

Going to the Ballpark on Tuesday.  Have to work also, so will probably have to use some PTO.  The good thing is the Ranger pitchers are all now pitching with a quicker pace.  Even Padilla's game was under 3 hours.  The Rangers traditionally play 3 hour plus games.  This year that is not the case.  Nolan Ryan has them all moving the game along.  2 1/2 hours is the norm these days.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Yeah, George, rub it in ... Nolan Ryan and Mike Maddux has that pitching staff in high gear. I'm really impressed with the Rangers. Umimpressed with the Sox so far. Not doing anything right (other than getting Contreras out of the starting rotation at last). You have a right to be happy with your team. I think Ozzie's going to be making some changes with the Sox.

If their woes continue, the White Sox might make some changes with Ozzie.  It was rumored last year at one time.

morning!
was out in genealogy land til way too late last nite- finally went to bed at 1130 ONLY becuz i knew i had to get up this morning!!! and was awakened at 130 with some reflux..still awake at 330 and off and on the rest of the nite...not a good start to my monday...
karen...as i am planning the cemetery weekend with my mother; i want to introduce her to relations she knows nothing about- we'll be visiting about 20 gravesites ( just a few new cmemeteries tho) that she never knew were her relatives ! and i am trying to put together info to share with her without overwhelming her- she tends to get that glazed over look quickly sooooooo i feel that i am exercising futility! tho it is interesting to me!!!!!

did i ever mention that michael had found me a treadmill and had to get the motor re-brushed? the treadmill was free- the motor work was $30-yesterday, he sold it right out from under me-for $100.......into the trip fund!

managed to get showered and to the tanning booth yesterday....and to walmart-bought a sun dress and lil cotton sweater for the trip--looks ok not great- Dots had some very pretty things but i did not feel like trying on at that time- and michael's comment was that what i bought wasn't "colorful enough"--c'mon it was walmart! so it will probly go back....i think i'll take him along to Dots one day this week! make him stand there while i try on color! i am still having issues with size and body dysmorphia or whatever the word is!

well- need to get self gorgeous i guess!
hugs and prayers................................................

Margo,
What color does he like you to wear? Maybe a better question is what color do YOU like?

Tom doesn't do well shopping with me. He thinks that shopping means 'grab the first item you see, then buy it'. Wrong!!

 Annette,

I didn't hear what happened with your "cat lady".  How is she doing without all the kitties?  Such a sad situation all around...

inquiring minds want to know
