Monday, Monday. . . What's Happening?
morning....
just another manic monday....not feeling well today...hurt all over....i do feel better after a hot shower but gezzzz whats wrong with me??? is it the weather or uncle arther flaring up or is it something else i should be worried about?? or maybe its just stress....sighs
got a load of clothes drying and thats a good thing!!! ran out of tops to wear to work....lol
got our house guest back again but this time i demanded some rent money from her or she had to go...she paid.
counting down the weeks to go see my mom. less than 4 to go now!!! she is getting excited to be seeing me again. makes me happy she is getting some ***** back in her voice again!!!
its a chilly morning here in willoughby but better than freezing and snow!!! had a duck swimming in the pool back and forth quacking all the while doing his laps....lol also the geese are having babies all over the place now and have to watch out for them crossing the roads...soon the deer will be having their babies and i will miss seeing them out in the yard at ricks moms. but i am glad we aren't there anymore!!

(((eileen))) have fun with carla and the others!!!
Next I wanted to shop for a gift for the M&M's. There was a beautiful china tea set for Melanie. The kids are close in age and often like the same toys. I wanted to get a tin tea set for Matthew but Tom threw a hissy fit. Two other shoppers agreed with me that it doesn't matter what "gender" toys the kids play with. (I use that term 'gender' because I can't think of a better word right this minute) Ooohh, he made me angry!
Okay, Fine.

It's a good thing that we never had kids together. I would have strangled the man. Our ideas are mostly opposite about parenting. He's wrong & I am RIGHT!!!
Time to stop complaining or was I bragging? either way -

Oh Annette- your thoughts reminded me of the "issues" my Dad had with the boy/girl toys. My little brother Jon (he was 18 months younger than I, so we were "thick as thieves" as children) was "gender confused" (he was gay but we didn't really know that back then-he died in 1990 of AIDS at the age of 34- oh my gosh, I still miss him so much!). In the late '50s and early '60s my Dad would take us to the toy store about once a month on payday. The toy store was divided- the boy aisles and the girl aisles. I was in heaven and chose easily from my area, but my brother was restricted from the girl aisles and he almost always ended up crying because he couldn't find anything he wanted in the boy aisles. Thank goodness he was always welcomed to play with my toys. My Dad used to think that if he played with girl things he would turn out gay- surprise- he was gay before he could even choose toys at all.
It has been a good day. Got things done in the office, the postal system picked up canned goods in the area and they donated a trunk of things to our church so I put them all away.
I some laundry done and got in a good nap.
What more could a person want out of a day???
Have a great evening all!
