Oh My Its Tuesday Talk On......
Taking the day to work on the housekeeping at the parsonage. Have parsonage review tomorrow evening, it always makes me nervous as I am not usually a very good housekeeper. This is an annual event and always makes me clean at least once a year!!!
Have the Pastor's Farewell banquet tonight. SO GLAD I am not moving. As United Methodists we are only assigned one year at a time. This will be beginning my 3rd year here and I am very happy and hope to stay a couple more.
Hope everyone has the sunshine we have. Going for an outside walk after lunch.
Take care all!

Hi my OFF family:
Already said hi to Carla because she was here overnight with Brenda. Carla went off to pick up Nan from her daughter's in Wyoming (MI, it's a town near here), and then they were going to go to an urgent care center, or as Carla was calling it, a "doc in the box" (hope that answers your question, Connie). So Brenda is still here. I deflated the guest bed (also known as an AeroBed) so I could get in the front bedroom. Brenda is sitting in the living room relaxing ... with her flat tummy ... I'm envious! Not that I'm going to have plastics ... I've had enough surgery to last a lifetime with two knee replacements in two years on the same knee.
It's bright and sunny and already 63 here... not a cloud in the sky. Looks like a gorgeous day. Unfortunately, I have to work. Oh well, gotta pay the bills somehow.
Finished one book yesterday and wrote my little 3-paragraph review, so some money coming in there, hopefully. Also will get some money eventually from this consumer research thing called Shoppers Hotline that I do ... I scan all my purchases and every now and then get some money. I didn't realize but I had enough points to get $50 ... so that will help in about 3-4 weeks. Too bad I have to wait so long.
Carla's cough sounds horrible, so I hope she can get some help. Wish I had something here to give her.
Have a good day.

i put some rhubarb in the freezer- would love to find more without having to buy it!!! michael has noticed that ohio is much diff than wisconsin in that respect- it's wild everywhere there!
hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Boy I've been on a marathon since Sunday night. I went for my sleep study. Interesting. The CPAP machine is for the birds, thought I'd suffocate for sure, but they told me if I didn't wear it the sleep test would have to be repeated. So I was compliant. Then Monday morning I went for some fasting blood work, then on to the cardiologist to drop of the monitor I wore on Saturday, then to my surgeon, and that's where the fun began. I weighed in and the MA asked me if I had an appointment scheduled with my surgeon. I said yes, next week, she said oh my we had better check your chart. So we did it together, and I'm done with all the pre-op stuff, or almost after tomorrows thyroid scan, and a stress test at the cardiologist. Everything will be in place for my visit on the 22nd. She kept saying the 's' word. I said, you mean SURGERY, yeah she meant SURGERY!!!! Then I climbed in the car with my husband and headed for my mom's. That's three hours away. Boy was I pooped, but she needed some help, and I knew I could not do it after surgery, so it had to be before. Wow, what a marathon. Home tonight and tired, but satisfied. All the ducks are in a row....I'm a, sigh, happy woman. Blessings to all...
