Happy Monday?? I am trying to get things in order here,so my recovery will go as smoothly as possible,of course there are no guarantees,I just do my best to control my little world.
Today I ate, cottage cheese with diced ham,a healthy choice beef sirloin meal,2 cheese sticks and a few crackers, apple, and will have more cottage cheese and ham before I go upstairs.
Take care....and smile!

Good morning, Linda.

I'm not a dog lover this morning.

A neighbor's dog barked all night long.  If it kept me awake (despite earplugs), how on earth did my neighbor sleep through it?  It finally shut up around 4 am, then my own damned dogs started barking at 5 am.  I'm going to buy one of those noise machines today in the hope that it will filter out the barking.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: eggplant parmesan, green bean & bacon salad
S: cheese stick
D: BBQ beans & beef, Mexican style veggy salad
S: SF pudding

Good morning Linda,

Has your surgery been scheduled? You are in MUCH better shape than before WLS. Let's get you calm in the mental area now. Sending love N kisses.

My grand's have so many activities, that has been difficult to keep my eating routine in order.

The bottled water helps as well as some popcorn before bed. I didn't realize how routine keeps things moving comfortably.

Be well & happy

Morning to you, sweet Linda. I hope that your Mother's Day was good and that today is even better yet. Mine was nice and this morning Carla is coming for me and we are traveling up to Michigan to take her cousin home and to get Nan and then we are staying overnight at Eileen's tonight and then I will be home sometime Tuesday night. I am looking forward to it but I am a bit scared with the tummy being what it is since surgery. It hurts and I move slow (very slow most of the time) but I know that everyone is going to understand.

Food for the next couple of days will be up in the air but I have no doubt it will be good. I am with a bunch of OHer's so how could it be anything but?

I am sending bit bunches of love and hugs to you and so many prayers to go with it for you and yours. I am hoping that you make other people's day just as special today as you do all of ours. You are a special lady and I never want you to forget it. Let us in on the updates of the surgery and what is going on so we can be a bigger support group for you......remember we are here for you when you need us and even when  you don't. We are your biggest cheerleaders and so just picture all of us in our little cheerleaders outfits with our pom poms. Can you picture George and Floyd in theirs? No offense to you George or Floyd, but you must admit that you would look a bit different in them than we would!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good morning everyone,
I'm at work and trying to be grateful that I still have a job and trying to let go of self-centered grumbling.    It seems that I just keep getting further behind here and don't really care.  We're losing money and negotiating retirement and I don't do well with the politics.  I'm pleased to hear that you all seem to be moving forward  except for the barking dogs.
Can't remember if I told you but my son got the flu and couldn't come for Mothers Day but we spoke on the phone and my daughter called too.  I called off the yard work and spent a restful weekend in the sun and with my novel.  Took care of necessary stuff like laundry, plan****ering and cooking but otherwise treated myself to a little vacation.  Steve turned me on to sea bass, moist, flaky and delicious, on Friday.  I'll definitely look for that again.  Sunday I drove to Big Sur for a lunch of crab quesadilla with tropical salsa, zydeco music and more communing with nature.
No big changes in the menu although I probably should since I'm stalled with the weight loss again.  Have a bright, beaming, better than average day.  CV Linda

B coffee/protein bar
L chili con carne
D chicken stir fry
S grapes & SF ice cream
