OT: Bible Verses for 5/12
Poor Saul. I think if one were to look at the story of Saul and read his history and really think about him, it might be concluded that he had some type of mental illness that prevented him from staying focused. His hate for David sent him to such a furor that even his own son betrayed him.
John's account of Jesus' miracles are my favorite. While I am an athiesist as you well know, I consider the Bible a great work of literature and find the gospels works that expose those self righteous men and women who look at the Bible and think it tells them they are better and are free to judge. My only problem in the King James version is that the translators have taken liberties in moving from Hebrew and Greek to English, that they have not correctly translated some of the words and this has caused wide spread inaccuracies. If you study Hebrew and Greek and translate the scriptures from the orginal, you will find that much of the work is tainted. Having studied the Bible first in undergraduate and then as a graduate student with translations, I am privilideged to get an accurate picture of what the Bible says. Not that I am here trying to argue with you or anyone else, it's just that in light of my most recent trial by WLS folks and persecution, I thought your picking of these texts is a wake up call.
Also, by me posting, you will see many more coming to your post and maybe they will actually read the Bible and understand the meaning as opposed to just telling me how sad it is that I am so ignorant, which is funny in itself.
Have a happy day and watch the readers pour in. LOL

PASS THIS ON. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO MAY BE IN NEED
The first sentence is pretty powerful!
God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.'
Father, God, bless all my friends in whatever it is that you know they may need this day! And may their lives be full of your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have a closer relationship with you. Amen.
Now send it on to other people. Within hours you caused a multitude of people to pray for other people.
P.S.. More is better; who else do you know that needs prayer?
Make it a wonderful day!!!
