Hi Jacki, you know your body,so you must be right. I too hate to eat in the morning!
I am doing labs for the surgery,so it is aprroximately 3 weeks if all is well.
I am chicken about the surgery. Did they send you home with crutches? Most of all,can I do stairs, or should I plan on sleeping downstairs...
Am I right to be scared of the pain??
.....sigh.

linda i know you have posted this before, but what exactly are you
having done??  total knee replacements or other knee surgery.

i came home with a walker and had both knees done at same time.

stairs were difficult in the beginning so i would plan on sleeping
downstairs.
i had to take percocet for awhile but it was more a nagging kind of
discomfort as opposed to actual pain.

private messge me if you have other concerns

hugs, jacki

Linda,

This morning when I let the dogs out of their house (they have a new doghouse - an 8x8 shed), I found Berry (who we call the Chunkster for obvious reasons) curled up asleep in their food bowl.  It's a big bowl - you could feed cattle out of it.  Berry loves his kibble, so I imagine he had sweet dreams last night.  At least he wasn't barking his fool head off all night long.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: pork chop with fennel, mushroom & zucchini casserole
S: cheese stick
D: steak, jicama & orange salad, maybe some sweet potato salad
S: SF pudding

Hey Boo! Do you buy the pecan crusted chickn?? It sounds yummy!
You sound good today. I am upping my protein today too. It is easy to let it slump when we don't have much of an appetite.
My pouch loves apples.
I love you,and look for you everyday..

I am relatively sure I am not eating enough these days and therfore, not losing - according to all the calculations I have looked at, I should have 1160 calories a day and I am barely getting 900 most days.... so I am stalled... so I am trying to increase my calorie selections - who would have ever thought that I would have such a problem - not me!!!

So I have had an Oh Yeah Chocolate shake for breakfast
Plan to go to water aerobics, so I am going to have a soup to go on the way - Tomato
And if I am cold when I get out of water aerobics - I am going to stop at McDonalds to get a non fat sugar free latte... I am addicted !

No sure about my other selections for the day... I want some shrimp  and ****tail sauce for my dinner, but I am not sure about lunch time.  Maybe tuna and cheese stick??

Snack will be cottage cheese, jello, pineapple, cool whip stuff that I call fluff...

And I am journaling - it is not hard to get in all my proteins - I am for 75 + daily, but I am beginning to think I need the calories,too... oh well, this weight loss thing is forever challenging.... LOL

Hiya Sheila,my NUT said I had to have the good carbs to burn fat. Those are the green, red, and yellow veggies mostly.
You are right about the challenge, but you sound up to it.
I too am in love with MC's ice coffee,as it is around 100 here.
Keep us updated...smile.
