Hi dudes and dudettes! I got some disturbing news about my 12 year old niece, she weighs 304 pounds!! When I saw them, including my mom, stuffing her when she was younger I was afraid of this. May God help her,who ever does not like God,I could care less,so do not say Jack to me!
Today I ate 2 yogurts,a cheese stick,2 handfulls of kettle potato chips (a concious decision),the rest of my turkey meal, with a litte mashed potato, gonna have a apple too.
Will those who believe please pray for my baby niece, she is so smart and talented, and I am truly afraid for her.
Louts need not reply.
Love you guys!

Hi Jeane,I know about the genes. I have one grand who will fight hi weight all his life,he is winning because of me and his mom. Another grand is naturally thin, passing on stuffing and such, and going for the protein, even at the age of 7!
Thank you for your prayers..
Hugs!

hey linda

no both surgeries were open surgeries, total knee replacements.
i have big scars on both knees.
i did well after the surgery, just took me awhile to recover, not so much due to
pain, but just slow to get everything working right again.

you know im thinking positive thoughts for you.

seems today was full of messages from that unhappy poster, her post
really upset me.  my mom says if you dont have anything good to say
then dont say anything.

i try to live by that, and if i do have something not that nice to say, i try
and put it diplomatically, because people do have a right to their own
thoughts and feelings, even if i dont agree.

love ya, jacki

Wow Jacki!! Both knees,I bow to you!!
I have blocked the unhappy person,so they are not a part of my reality anymore...smile.
I too support the right of free speech and the right for any person to believe what they like. I do not chose my friends by their beliefs...sigh. There are some who are mentally clogged, and they can not be saved.
Jacki...you rock!

PS Jacki,I am also sorry you are upset. You deserve better. There is a block button, where the reply button is accessed.
It is so funny,I have Wiccan friends,Jewish friends, and so many others, with no problems.
I so appreciate your positive thoughts...smile.
Love ya back!

You of all people should know that god doesn't give a rip about obese people or there wouldn't be obese people. Plus, there's those who believe in god who believe in sin and so the sin of gluttony would not be one of those things that he would be interested in healing someone of.  Now, if you said, there has to be a reasonable way to help her and maybe we should start with educating her and her family about choices or maybe she is large enough for surgical intervention. I mean, isn't that what you did.  Educate youself and go for surgery?  And of all the diseases out there that are worthy of healing, and I'm not seeing a lot of that, obesity is not one where you are going to immediately die from like say, losing a lung or a kidney or being hit by a car and living on life support.  I would not have responded to this post but for the little you not caring about offending anyone with your religious post.  See, isn't that contrary to being a christain?

Jeannie, I have only a couple of questions to ask you.

As you know I have had atheists in my family and who you believe in or what you believe in or whether or not you believe is your business.........but why do you ask that we not shove our beliefs down your throat and yet then you shove yours down ours? Linda did nothing to you...she voiced her opinion and asked those who pray to pray for her little niece. What is the harm of that?

Why do you insist on making us as miserable as you apparently are?

Just my own opinion..........

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
