TGIF!!   I am thinking of my just for today mottos I learned.
Just for today I will have a program,I may not follow it exactly, but I will have one.
Just for today I will spread joy, love, forgiveness, and give hope to all I can.
Today I had a Chicken meal I ate in 2 parts,an apple,a few crackers and I will eat more protein before I lay me down. I drank way too much coffee today...smile.

I just had a nice big salad and though my head says it is still hungry, I am going to brush my teeth and go visit a 97 year old lady whose son just died a couple days ago.  By the time i get  back home it may be time for carrots and peanut butter.  I just am so food focused this week!!!!

Hugs back!

Wow,I do not want your job!! You may really be hungry soon as salad does not stay with you long, unless it has protein in it,like a chef's salad.
You may want to try some protein as it stays with you for awhile, unless it is yogurt...smile.
Take care,talk to ya later.

I had tuna and monterey jack cheese on the salad.

When I got home I had 2 carrots and peanut butter and 2 cheese sticks.

I think I am going to have to go back and get some more fill, except this morning I PB'd on scrambled eggs!

I don't know,  it is hard to figure out.

Do you also go to the lap band forum,I know Jean does...
Maybe you can get better feedback from them, but don't you dare leave here!
Please let me know how things turn out.
Hugs!

I won't be leaving, I like the folks on this board too much.

Yes, I check in with the lap band board also.  Unfortunately with bands alot more has to be willpower and that is something that comes and goes with me.

I will just keep forging ahead.  I'm not really going up, just not going down either again.

Thanks for caring.

Dearest Jeane,
It takes self control with RNY too. Most of us may not tolerate sugar, but we do carbs, that is why some gain weight,or never lose it.
Do you have OA in your area?? That helped me change my relationship with food,or are you doing that already? I think you are...
Stay strong baby!

Sweet Linda:

Yes, I am already involved with OA.  I called a phone meeting yesterday and it was very helpful for me to know that there are a whole lot of other people out there who struggle to maintain abstinence.

I will be calling my sponsor shortly as I have a very difficult day time wise and am not sure how to do my food after breakfast (meeting from 11-5) then potluck dinner.   Not a good scedule for me!

Baby steps.  Still getting in the treadmill alsmost very day and that is definitely helping.  I thank God I can do that at least.

I eat very little carbs or sugar but I need to learn how to do without them completely to stop the cravings.

Thanks for being there!
