Surgery tomorrow (Thurs.)

Well, wish me luck -- tomorrow is The Big Day!
I've opted for the VSG instead of the RNY. Lower rate of complications and not having the malabsorption issues are the main reasons for changing my mind.
This has been a long time coming, and I still can't believe it's finally going to happen.
Surgery is at 8 a.m., and I have to be at the  hospital by 6. I'm going to bed now, but I know I'll not be getting much sleep. Too excited!!!

Good luck, I hope you have an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. I hope to be where you are one day soon!

I am wishing you only the best of luck on the starting of your new and exciting life. I will be keeping you in my prayers for a safe surgery and a speedy and uneventful recuperation. I will be keeping the medical staff in prayers for knowledge too.

Please let us know as soon as you can how you are doing and in the meantime we will be dusting the bench room for it to be clean and presentable for when you join us. We always make sure it is dusted and clean for our new bench sitters. And don't worry about the seat....it is the most comfortable one you will have ever sat in. And it just keeps getting more and more comfy too.
