Mouthwatering Monday......I didn't forget!
Thank you Sandy,
My brain and tongue would not connect the letters into a word. When looking it up, all I found was a ton of recipes. One was for edamame brittle. Sounded good until I read that it took over a pound of SUGAR to prepare.
I need to look in the frozen food section some day. Frozen meals never cross my mind.

I was told, Annette, that it is pronounced Ed a mah may. I know that they look like little green bean shaped stuff. It came in a bag and you can get them shelled or not shelled. I got the shelled since you can't eat the shell (which looks like a big bean shell) anyway so I figured why bother. I got the bag at Super Wal Mart for only a dollar something and they were in the frozen vegetable section. I told Bill it was worth it to me to try it and if I am out a buck oh well, I have wasted more than that in a heartbeat. ha ha
Yes Brenda, you have the correct pronounciation. I just talked to my daughter from Boise and she corrected me. I saw them in our Super WalMart also. My daughter loves them too and she is a skinny little thing....she has always eaten right I guess. Thanks for doing the Mouthwatering Mondays.

Aren't they soy beans? I hear everyone say en da ma may. Only way I've eaten them is as a free snack in a sushi restaurant. I think they were steamed tender crisp and had sea salt on them. I didn't think they had much taste but I hear they are very good for you. I think the bean salad receipe sounds really good. Add some zip to it.
