What we are eating and what's eating us Tuesday!

Hello everyone and good thoughts for Ky.  Finished the first draft of my letter to the Board of Directors concerning missing years of service.  Interesting that my dreams changed from anxiety to absurdity on the part of the ex chief with whom I have the disagreement.  I feel better regardless of whether I win this battle.  Another busy day before the board meeting tomorrow but I have another evening to work on the letter.

Food was OK yesterday except for those dang baked goods that show up at work.    I sampled the pound cake, the coffee cake, the German chocolate cake.  Anyone have a strategy for dealing with this sugar addiction?  Maybe I need something more substantial than a protein bar for breakfast.  Today I will have kashi and yogurt first.  Perhaps that wil boost the will power.

B Kashi/yogurt
L chili/cherries
D steak/asparagus
S SF ice cream/peanuts

Sloppy smooches,  CV Linda

Hi CV,I think a belly full of protein is the best guard against the sweets, indeed.
I think you may be doing some emotional eating regarding the meeting tommorow, you are literly taking it to bed with you.
Soon,it will be behind you,and your behind will not grow from some slivers of sweets...smile.
Hugs and good vibes!

Spent 1/2 walking downtown and 1/4 hour sitting on a park bench bathing in the weather!
Guess you could say--"I'm walking on Sunshine"

I have to confess I GAINED weight last week but have been trying to get back on track with the food issues and purposing to exercise.  Last night as I watched Extreme Makeover, I was prompted by a little voice inside of me to hop up onto the mini trampoline and jog during the commercials.  I OBEYED that voice and must confess it has made such a difference to motivate me to do more!  I'm grateful for this board and all of it's posters.  Today, I'm being real and attempting to live out loud!   Big hugs your way, Nan
