What's new Thursday?
Hi my OFF family:
Thursday morning, and I'm online looking for my payroll deposit. It's not there, so I'm here checking to see who's up. I watched the White Sox beat the Twins, 7-4 ... Jermaine Dye hit a grand slam and Paul Konerko hit a two-run homer, so I'm happy. That's two in a row.
Work was a little frustrating because I was sent seven stories for a space meant for five; I told the guy in charge that I wouldn't have room, and one story was held and another sent back into the front page/local mix. But then another story was sent that was 24 inches, and that shouldn't happen when they know we have tight space.
Not much else going on. Body was feeling out of it all day; neck and shoulders were sore and I felt queasy most of the day, especially when I was driving (not fun). I'm not sure what was going on. Stress? Fibro flare-up?
Well, chat on. I have a busy morning planned once that paycheck lands in the bank (just errands, paying bills, nothing fun). Have a good day, and I'll check in later.

Good morning Eileen. I am fortunate. My employee website showed what my check was already. I have it going to two different accounts. One posts it on Thursday morning, the other on Friday morning. Friday is actually pay day. I have to move my payments around and make sure I have a couple of hundred to go to Shreveport on the 31st. Four days of vacation. I can not wait.
Rangers lost again, but fortunately, so did the Angels. We have lost 9 games in a row in Detroit, dating all the way back to 2007. Hope Millwood can break that string tomorrow. Need a win going into Houston, then need 2 out of 3 there. At least. And then the Yankees.
I have been tired lately. Gotta get some more sleep some how.

dr's appt went well for michael -got all new scrips to make copies for the trip too--
found another laptop battery online before leaving for work yesterday and it is already in transit via UPS! probl;y won't have it for this weekend with mom but will fo rthe panama trip..no biggie....
roxiethewonderdog got loose again last nite- was across main street again--it's a truck route and ppl don't always slow down to go thru town like they are sposed to--i tried telling her she'll get smuckered and she doesn't seem to speak Yooper! so a woman caught her and when she saw michael she released-thinking as any sane person would -that the dog would run to michael! HA!!!!!!!!! another chase followed- and then he got her home--
work went ok and today will be long again...
got the cemetery vases (alomst) done- they look so cute! i need to go to the dollar store for 20 more flags tho-and another piece of styro--had enough to do 24 of the 30...
tonite i need to pack and i may just take every bit of my genie stuff and throw it in the car -mom will be overwhelmed as it is and so i wonder why i am trying to enlighten her of her family...but i need to try!i'm so in awe of karen c's genie trip .

Today is a busy day. I have to drive an hour and a half to a Career Link in Wellsboro. I am signing up for Experience Works which is an on the job training for adults over 50. We shall see. Also, tonight I will go to the Frost Hollow Herbal Guild meeting.
Not feeling to well today. I've had a sour stomach and a sour throat all night. I think I know the cause and I am hoping it will knock some sense into my head. I will take a Zycam just in case it's something else.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
Good morning to you, Eileen and my other OFF family. Hope you all have a great Thursday.
I have a doctor appointment with the surgeon this morning. I am hoping that something gives with this navel thing. I say my pcp yesterday and she looked at it and said it was infected. I hope that he can do something today because I need to get past this whole thing and go on with my life. I feel like I am in limbo and I don't like it. It will be 4 weeks on Monday and it is time to go onto bigger and better things.
Did anyone watch the season ending of Criminal Minds last night? I thought it was wonderful and one of the best. I saw the bit of the season opener and OMG it is going to be so darn good. Criminal Minds is one of my favorite shows and I try really hard to never ever miss it! I read a lot of books on serial killers because I love to figure out what makes them tick. My sister and I are already working on figuring it out. ha ha
It is suppose to be in the low 80's today. It got kind of warm yesterday with the high of around 86 but the breeze was nice. After today it is suppose to stay pretty much in the 70's and that is good too. No rain for a few days either and that is great! We are so darn rained out it isn't even funny anymore. So much rain and no where for it to go anymore.
I better get going. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers to go with it all. Have a wonderful day and think happy and joyful thoughts......they help everyone.

We're big Criminal Minds fans, not as much as when Mandy Pitankin was on it, but we still like it a lot. Last night's episode was very good, but it was a little much for me at times. So, I'd come into my office and check out American Idol for a bit. Kris Allen is from a town just north of Little Rock, and quite a few of our clients either work with family members of his or go to church with them.
Anyway, back to CM...we didn't catch all of this season's episodes, was there something we missed with the guy with the gun? Was this a criminal they didn't catch, or just a guy with a grudge? Oh, please let me know as we're very confused!

I spent my freshman year of college in Conway. In 1967 it was still State College of Arkansas. Loved that town and that beautiful little campus. We drove through in 1990 and it had changed a lot but still a pretty spot. Many fond memories of that first venture away from home. Funny sidenote: My roommate that year had signed up for an "out of state" roomie. They set us up together. She was from Batesville last name Hall. . . I remembered Mom mentioning Hall relatives. Yep, turns out we were about 4th cousins. Our Great grandfathers were brothers. Or was it great great? Anyway, some kind of cousins! She's the one I went to Alaska with this past May. I thought both Chris and Adam very deserving. Adam probably the most all around talent, but he'll make it I'm sure.

I think that UCA is one of the prettiest colleges I've ever seen. Of course, when you're comparing them to the concrete jungles they call colleges in San Diego, it isn't hard to be prettier...LOl
We're not Idol watchers. I just followed Kris because of the connection with AR, clients and friends. They say it really doesn't matter if you come in first or second, you're set to become a star either way.
Adam, it turns out, has been performing professionally since he was 10, so I think that was a bit unfair to even have him in the competition where they're supposed to find some obscure person and allow them a chance at the big game. Oh well. It's over now.
