OT: Bible Verses for 5/21

Saul's death by choice allows the readers to see that he was a coward.  Of course, if I thought I was going to be captured by cruel men, I, too, might throw down on the sword. I don't know. 

Judas was not only a betrayer, but a thief.  While Saul was the opposite of David, Judas was the foil for Jesus.  Jesus was generous and loved and Judas was a thief and probably not liked at all since he was always worried about money. 

It's also interesting that both of them kill themselves as a way out.
