It's 12:12 a.m. sunday......
Good morning Millie~
We seem to have two threads going. I'll post on both.
I went bathing suit shopping for the first time in decades. Carla gave me a nice one last year in Pittsburg. Very pretty but the girls slipped out of the sides.
It is hard to find a suit appropriate for a 61 year old woman. If my thighs and torso were all flat and smooth, and the girls perky, it would be no problem.
I ended up getting boy cut bottoms and a blousey type halter top. Now all I need is the courage to wear it in public. Tom thought I looked pretty good.
He said that when I weighed 320 too.
Kisses

Ohhhh I hear you on the swim suit dilemma. All the sagging skin and loss of butt and the girls sagging makes it hard on the styles to choose from. I didn't think of the boy shorts and a halter. I'll look into that one.....
it brings back memories of sitting in the pre surgery classes and the young gals wanting to know if they will have a belly button after the panni is taken off.... they want a belly ring to wear with a bikini.... lol all I wanted was off my meds..... and to be able to tie my shoes ! ! !

It is going to rain here today, so I am going to try and keep the kids as occupied as I can with indoor activities. I have a screened in back porch, but I hate for them to be outside at all in the rain or storms. Plus, the wind blows and the rain comes and they still get misty wet. So, I am thinking that we will color, I'll read to them, they'll watch some Dora, and we'll do legos, then the nap. After the nap, we'll color... Ha. My husband says, let them play. I tell him that letting them play turns into them running up and down the hall and my nerves are not what they used to be so organization is called for here. I have playdoh that I will pull out if I must. It is the secret weapon and will be used only if they are totally unentertainable. LOL. HOpe your day goes well.

Good afternoon, Millie and my OFF sibs. I hope we are all doing well.
I am posting on both of the threads too...I am glad that you got start one of them, Millie. So I thougth that posting on both is no big deal to me.
Ended up in the ER last night and this morning with the infection in the navel. He put me on a super anti biotic for those super infections and I am to do peroxide on it once a day and then I will have the out patient surgery on Tuesday to get that infection all out of their. I am patiently (well...alright, I confess it is NOT patiently!) It is feeling a bit better with that peroxide used last night. Well....it was more this morning. I got there last night at 11 and finally got out of there after 4 this morning. By the time I went to the pharmacy and got the scripts and such it was going on 5:30 this morning. What a fun Saturday late night/ early morning time spent!
Had dinner with DS and DIL along with our precious little grandson too. I got to hold him and feed him and it was great having him fall asleep leaning up against me with two of my fingers clutched in his fists. The more I spend time with him the more love there is for him.....and I thought that I loved him as much as I could before. It is amazing how the love just keeps growing and growing.
I better go. I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers being said for everyone too. Have a great Sunday and spread your cheer......it will come back to you tenfold if you do.
