Linda's server is down and she asked me to start the thread today.

My only planned meal is the usual breakfast of cottage cheese, fruit and Kashi.

The rest of the day is a complete mystery.

Do you plan meals in advance or wing it?

Good morning Linda Annette!  Sounds like a good name for me.  Nice to see you here, my dear.

I'm a planner.  I plan just about  everything in my life, guess it's obsessive, but it's just me. I find that when it comes to food, if I plan out my day I have less of a tendency to graze or make poor choices, or just not eat at all! I have to know that I have all of the food I need for the day at work, since I can't get out to buy anything and my schedule is such that I need to have food that I can grab and eat in between clients.

Today's breakfast is what I usually have:
whole wheat tortilla w/ 2 tbs turkey breakfast sausage and 1/4 c eggbeaters

Lunch: 1/2 PB&J on double fiber bread and a kiwi fruit

dinner: Thai noodle salad w/ chicken and shrimp

Snacks: an orange and cottage cheese/yogurt (one in a.m., one this evening)

and of course, my lattes---at least two!

Lattes - yum. Those are an occasional treat for me also. Most days I just do a caffeine IV

Being a creature of habit and rather obsessive, my menu doesn't vary much day to day, so it doesn't take much planning. The same stuff with little variation suits me just fine.

Good morning and great day!

Did OK with my meal plan yesterday, only adding two baby ribs and a sweet potato.  Finally got back on the treadmill at work yesterday too...not for long but it is a start. 

B coffee/Kashi/yogurt
S protein bar
L hotdogs/no bun, LC cheese
D salmon/vegies
S SF ice cream
And lots of Crystal Lite

Aloha Linda.....I just IM'd with my brother who is in his Carmel house for a long weekend. They are doing a lot of gardening and mini maintenance. I love their little house there...and am always so happy to be able to use it when I'm in Calif. However, my bro says it is getting to be a big drain on their budget sitting there empty most of the time, so they MAY have to rent it out on a permanent basis. I totally understand, but will be sad not to be able to use it from time to time.

When I lived in Santa Cruz that was my favorite place in the world. Now Maui is....but Santz Cruz/Monterey/Carmel is a very close 2nd.

Hi CV Linda ~

Your menu looks perfect. I love, love, love hotdogs. My Dad used to get upset when he grilled steaks because I always threw on a hotdog for my meal.

There is nothing like a scored hot dog very brown off the grill. Thanks for the help sis...I am gonna tell on myself...hehehe.

Some days I plan....other days I wing it....depends on what I have going on that day.

B-yogurt w/ Kashi and string cheese
L-chopped steak and peas
D-Chef salad

 Heavy Sigh,

 My food has been all over the board..  haha  keyboard too (message to self... don't eat at computer).  I need to plan my meals.  I don't vary much but when I do I wander off course (message to self... don't wander around)

I've had difficulty with my food intake and need to be more careful than ever. I NEED to plan, write food intake down etc (message to self... sharpen pencil)

I've been hiding out in my sewing room and that keeps me from snacking and eating meals on time (message to self...  set alarm for mealtime)

B: oatmeal w/ cranberries  soy milk
S: ??  (message to self.. plan snacks)
L: chili w/ onion & cheese
S:  See note above
D:  beef barley soup/ veggies
S:  see note from above

Well, I think I'll go find my note pad and hope I remember where I put it.  Hmmm  where is the pencil sharpener?  Where will I put the note where I will see it...  OH I know.... on the sewing machine.....
