Carla take care all.
Hi Eileen,
Just a quick report in. Nothing quiet around here. Spent 4 days visiting our two kids on the west side of the state. Weather was beautiful here in Washington all weekend.
Mike and I have been finishing up a couple of rock areas of the yard with landscape pavers.
Starting tomorrow we have 18 arriving at our home to spend the weekend visiting, eating, and sorting my mom's huge collection of pictures and books. After two years of hoarding them I am ready to share. I have more than enough "stuff" of my own. We've made copies of many of them for all and will let them go through the rest and take what they want. Should be a lot of fun but I'm sure absolutely exhausting by Sunday afternoon.
Then I just have 3 days to finalize my Maui packing and hit the road again. Can't wait to spend some one on one quality time with Maui Karen. We met 18 months ago when Mike and I went, but didn't have much time together. This time that is a priority!
I have a million things to do before Friday evening. I plan to get my part of the cooking done ahead of time. I don't cook and visit together well. Something always gets left out and it's usually not the visiting! You all have a good one. May the sun shine on you!

Hope everyone is doing well, this is just a quick hello, as I have no internet access at work and mornings are about getting ready for the job right now, until I get back into the routine ;)
I am loving the commute, leaving home at 7:45 a.m. is a far cry from when I used to leave at 6 a.m., sometimes earlier and getting home before 6 p.m., and Wilmington is a nice little city. The people at the job seem genuinely nice and happy to have me there, give them some time (lol)!
Well I gotta run, but thanks for all the support.
Happy surgervisary to all who are experiencing one, welcome to any newbies, you are in for the journey of a lifetime!
Hugs, Laureen

P.S. For those who've asked, Dillinger is amazing and still hanging in with me!

Probably from this miserable cold weather. All I do is shiver and shake.
Enough complaining and on to the good stuff. Tomorrow night we are taking the M&M's out on the town. First we do a bit of shopping then someplace for dinner.
Saturday and Sunday we will go to Melanie's first dance recitals.

Kisses
Annette
Annette, you are such a good grandma, and definately leading Melanie in the right direction with the jewelry....I know she feels just like a princess.
I've changed the bed linens and they are in the dryer as we speak, and the bed is remade with fresh ones. I have a king size bed so it's quite a job! Seriously thinking of downsizing to a queen...I need new
sheets and in pricing them the king size are really expensive.
Been to Wal Mart for my weekly shopping .....didn't do too badly today.
I did buy another pot and some potting soil and will try planting some seeds, it may be too late, but then they may bloom much later too.
Have to do some Banker's Edge training online this morning.....don't have time to do it at work.
It's cool and cloudy here and only to get into the low 60's. Been wondering how Brenda is doing -- may have to give her a shout out later.
Have a lovely Thursday all!

NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS I wrote something almost exactly like
this a few years ago in my journal, which was not a food journal. I truly would
love to live these words. I will definately strive for this. Glad you posted it, Marie.
